Erepublik-Why do we play this game? (english version)

I play this game because it is an excape from real life (RL-how is sometimes called in articles), and I think that all of us play this game and other browser based game, for this reason. So the majority of us don't want to witness the same injustice that we see in RL- so please admins fix the bugs, and we really dont want to see your chicken again, maybe change it with another bird.

For me it is important the development so i gave up my romanian citizenship for the indonesian one, for profit, for better bonuses. So in time of need when my country was erased, I gave up fighting there and Ive looked for better bonuses, so in this game im not realy a patriot . In real life many compatriots do exactly the same thing, for a better job, they go to work in countries with ,,better bonuses'' like those in Western Europe. Funny thing is that in this game those countries are erased or with just a few regions 🙂.

This game is greatly based on patriotism and the historical hate between countries, that is why the map resembels the map in RL, usually neighbours, like SERBIA-CROATIA, ROMANIA-HUNGARY, TURKEY-GREECE. Those countries and others like those will never swap regions for mutual profit, as we see in the region swap made by Canada and USA, and every country has some fanatics that will only play this game just to kill a particular neighbour.

If region swap was a usual practice, countries would have better bonuses, so more resources for the players and money for the state. But they would lose the players who play this game for misunderstood patriotism. And if the swap would be done between ,,natural enemies 🙂 '',something that is imposible, many players would desagree and will stop playing, so even that on the first sight it is looking like it would be better for countries to swap regions, the majority must agree, so its imposible to be done between countries like those listed above who have many fanatics and have a historical conflict.

On the long run countries that change, that are erased and than expand and change again will have better baby-boom compared with those who are superpowers, unchalanged or compared with those who are erased with no chance of freedom. So changing is good, war is good, alliances and economy, articles, politics, everything has to change from time to time to keep us playing.

So in conclusion everybody has a reason for playing. Find yours, explore the different options , don't forget why you play this game. Do you want to excape from Real life? if the answer is YES, than play this game for fun. Dont forget that your Natural Enemy is probably playing this game for the same reason as you, FOR FUN.
