Hello!

I have decided to do what has been done in past but not for a very long time. I am choosing some well known and some not so well known players to interview for my article. The point of this is to get know to your eRepublik community better. I hope I do one every week 🙂 Questions are simple. They've been asked same questions. Also they've been asked to give us a personal touch and also a picture of themselves.

First off we have: ROMPER


1. Tell us a bit about yourself, maybe how you got your name, where you from?

Romper is coming from a movie, Romper Stomper, with Russel Crowe. I liked the movie so I started using the name online in different games. I am Croatian, from Zagreb. Because of my work I get to travel a lot and work in different parts of the world.

2. When and how did you find eRepublik?

I saw a comment on one of Croatian portals about eCroatia needing help so I joined the game to see what it was all about.

3. What is your favorite part of eRepublik? What do you enjoy doing the most?

Fighting I guess. What I enjoy most? I suppose I like to see my countrymen happy and united.

4.Tell us something that most of us would not know by looking at you.

You would not know anything about me by just looking at me. You would most likely make all the wrong conclusions 🙂

Next we have: Depici


1. Tell us a bit about yourself, maybe how you got your name, where you from?
I am 25 years old, my nickname has no meaning really, not even in Turkish. 😃 its just depici. i studied political science in university of Vienna, Austria. i play this game to make observations of communities from different countries, how they react to the events and foreigners. 😃

I don't have really any aim or wiliness to achieve sth here, i am aware that its just a game. I am trying to be fair and neutral to everyone. I love my group very much, they are the only reason that i did not quit the game 3 months ago.

I was born and raised in Istanbul,Turkey, i lived 1 year in Dusseldorf,Germany , 4.5 years in Vienna,Austria.

2. When and how did you find eRepublik?

It was August 2009 when real life Greek friend of mine visited me in Istanbul, logged in the game from my computer and fought against Turkey. : D I did not have time that month cuz he came to visit me for a road trip so it took a bit of time until i create my account here.

3. What is your favorite part of eRepublik? What do you enjoy doing the most?
There is none :/, its just nice too see peoples reactions to events.

4.Tell us something that most of us would not know by looking at you.
I am tall 196cm (77.2 inches) lol 😃

5. Want to give a shout-out!?
Here is one observation of mine to share with the public:
Turkey and Greece are fighting for 3 years non-stop. Game management is really earning a lot from this war, it is one of the locomotive wars of the e-world, people started to be bored about this war lately and admin just decided to add e-Cyprus despite there are just a few Cypriots playing the game, not more then 20 i guess, and they also took the grain from medi coasts of turkey and they put it in the real life disputed region of Cyprus which is called Northern Cyprus. There exist a de-facto Turkish state there since 1983 called Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Anyway i talked about too much of real life issues. i don't want to talk about them cuz we cannot find a solution here : D
So admin made a good move and rush up greko-turkish war with his move and these two communities did not say anything against it, rather they started to fight harder.

Now we have: Zyria


1. Tell us a bit about yourself, maybe how you got your name, where you from?
I just kinda made it up out of the blue. Turns out a lot of African American women go by that name IRL, so it has caused some confusion. I'm from the South East US, rather not say specifically where..

2. When and how did you find eRepublik?
I found eRepublik from an ad on Travian, while bored at school one day. It was one of the only games not blocked by the school's filter.

3. What is your favorite part of eRepublik? What do you enjoy doing the most?
My favorite part of eRep is the people, of course! I've made a lot of good friends while I've been here. What I enjoy the most is QMing, or supply for those of you not in the know *wink* i really do love giving people food and guns ^-^

4.Tell us something that most of us would not know by looking at you.
Uhm... If you know me on IRC, you wouldn't guess that I'm shy. At all. But I am, quite a bit.

Now.... We have the great.. Henry Arundel


1. Tell us a bit about yourself, maybe how you got your name, where you from?
I picked the name Henry Arundel because I was researching the Duchy of Norfolk for a project at the time, and Henry Arundel is the name used by the heir to the current Duke. I made this account specifically to get into South Africa when Ajay was attempting his PTO there, so I needed something he wouldn't have any reason to think was related to me or anyone else working to stop him there.

2. When and how did you find eRepublik?
I was referred to eRep from a scouting forum back in 07, played for a while, I was the epitome of two clicker. I didn't even log in ever day. When v1 happened, I requested account deletion, cause all of my friends had quit, and I didn't like the new modules. I came back with the James S. Pfeiffer account several months later because I saw a post on facebook where a friend of mine from school was trying to get referrals. I decided to start an account and level it up to help him out. He ended up quitting shortly thereafter, and I got involved with the Feds, and Congress. Henry Arundel happened as I said above, right after the banning of Pfeiffer.

3. What is your favorite part of eRepublik? What do you enjoy doing the most?
The people. Anyone who doesn't say it's the friends they've made here needs a boot to the face. The forum and IRC have always been the lifeblood of this game, because they're what connects us to the other players. I've made some friends here that I'll keep long after we walk away from eRep for the final time.

4.Tell us something that most of us would not know by looking at you.
Top of my head, right at the crown, I've got a mole. Even when I had my hair buzzed, you couldn't really see it, but it's there.

5. Want to give a shout-out!?
Old Liberty Party people, original Feds, and the 09 crew reassembling in USWP, you guys are awesome. Apart from that I could list a few dozen names individually, but that would be obnoxious.

Merhaba!

Geçmişte yapılmakta olup bir süredir yapılmayan birşeyi yapmaya karar verdim. Makalemde röportajlarına yer vermek üzere bazı çok iyi tanınan ve bazı pek tanınmayan oyuncuları seçiyorum. Bunun amacı eRepublik topluluğunu daha iyi tanımak. Umarım her hafta böyle bir tane yapabilirim. 🙂
Sorular basit. Hepsine aynı sorular soruluyor. Aynı zamanda onlardan kişisel bir yorum ve kendilerini ifade etmelerini istiyorum.

İlk önce: ROMPER


1.Bize biraz kendinden bahsetsene, ismini nereden aldığın, hangi ülkeden olduğun gibi mesela?

Romper Russell Crowe’un oynadığı Romper Stomper adlı filmden geliyor. Filmi sevdiğim için bu ismi diğer online oyunlarda da kullanmaya başladım. Hırvatistan, Zagrep’tenim. İşim dolayısıyla çokça seyahat ediyorum ve dünyanın değişik bölgelerinde çalışıyorum.

2.eRepublik’e ne zaman ve nerede rastladın?

Hırvat sitelerinden birinde eHırvatistan’ın yardıma ihtiyacı olduğu hakkında bir yoruma rastladım ve neler olup bittiğini görmek için de oyuna kaydoldum

3.Senin için eRepublik’teki favori özellik nedir? Oyunda en çok neden keyif alıyorsun?

Savaşman sanırım. En çok keyif aldığım? Sanırım yurttaşlarımın mutlu ve birlikte olduklarını görmek.

Bana sadece bakarak hakkımda pek birşey bilemezsiniz. Büyük ihtimalle yanlış sonuçlara varırdınız. 🙂

1.Bize biraz kendinden bahsetsene, ismini nereden aldığın, hangi ülkeden olduğun gibi mesela?

25 yaşındayım, lakabımın açıkçası bir anlamı yok, Türkçe’de bile. 😃 değici işte. Avusturya – Viyana Üniversitesi’nde siyaset bilimleri okudum. Bu oyunu farklı ülkelerden toplulukları gözlemlemek, olaylara ve yabancılara nasıl tepki verdiklerini görmek için oynuyorum. 😃

Burada birşey başarmak gibi bir hedefim ya da isteğim yok. Bunun bir oyun olduğunun farkındayım. Herkese karşı eşit ve adil olmaya çalışıyorum. Grubumu çok seviyorum, onlar benim oyunu 3 ay önce bırakmamamdaki tek sebep.

Istanbul, Türkiye’de doğdum ve büyüdüm, 1 yıl Düsseldorf, Almanya’da, 4.5 yıl da Viyana, Avusturya’da yaşadım.

2.eRepublik’e ne zaman ve nerede rastladın?

2009 yılında gerçek hayattan Yunan bir arkadaşım beni Istanbul'da ziyaret etmeye geldiğinde, bilgisayarımdan oyuna girdi ve Türkiye'ye karşı savaştı. 😃 O aralar zamanım yoktu çünkü beni bir yolculuk için ziyarete gelmişti, o yüzden kendi hesabımı açmam biraz uzun sürdü.

3.Senin için eRepublik’teki favori özellik nedir? Oyunda en çok neden keyif alıyorsun?

Yok. :/ Sadece insanların olaylara karşı tepkilerini görmek güzel.

Toplulukla paylaşmak istediğim kendime ait bir gözlemim var:
Türkiye ve Yunanistan 3 yıldır durmaksızın savaşıyorlar. Oyun yönetimi bu savaştan cidden çok fazla kazanıyor, e-dünyanın lokomotif savaşlarından bir tanesi, insanlar son zamanlarda bu savaştan sıkılmaya başlayınca admin oyuna aslında 20 taneden fazla vatandaşı olmamasına rağmen e-Kıbrıs’ı ekledi ve gerçek hayatta da tartışma konusu olan Kuzey Kıbrıs adlı bölgeye Akdeniz Bölgesi’nde bulunan tahılı koydu. Orada 1983 yılından beri fiilen varlığını sürdürmekte olan Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti adlı bir Türk devleti bulunuyor.
Herneyse, gerçek hayat meselelerinden çok fazla bahsettim. Bu konulardan fazla bahsetmek istemiyorum çünkü burada bir sonuç elde edemiyoruz. 😃
Uzun lafın kısası, admin bu akıllı hamlesiyle Yunan-Türk savaşını hızlandırdı ve bu iki topluluk da bu konu hakkında hiçbirşey söylemedi, aksine daha da şiddetli savaşmaya başladılar.

1. Bize biraz kendinden bahsetsene, ismini nereden aldığın, hangi ülkeden olduğun gibi mesela?

Durup dururken uydurdum aslında. Sonra farkettim ki çok sayıda Afro-Amerikalı kadın gerçek hayatlarında bu ismi kullanıyor, bu yüzden biraz kafa karışıklığı yarattı. Güneydoğu Birleşik Devletler’denim, tam olarak neresi olduğunu söylemeyeyim.

2.eRepublik’e ne zaman ve nerede rastladın?

eRepublik’e okulda sıkıcı bir günde, Travian’daki bir reklamda rastladım. Okul yönetimi tarafından engellenmeyen az sayıda oyundan biriydi.

3.Senin için eRepublik’teki favori özellik nedir? Oyunda en çok neden keyif alıyorsun?

Benim favorim oyundaki insanlar tabii ki! Burada olduğum süre boyunca birçok iyi arkadaş edindim. En çok keyif aldığım şey ise erzak dağıtmak, ya da tanımadıklarınıza yardım sağlamak 😉 insanlara yiyecek ve silah dağıtmayı gerçekten seviyorum. ^-^

4.Bize, birçoğumuzun sana karşıdan bakarak bilemeyeceği birşey söyle.

Hmm..Beni Irc’den tanıyorsanız, pek utangaç olduğumu düşünmezsiniz. Ama öyleyim, hem de oldukça.

Ve şimdi, huzurlarınızda büyüük..Henry Arundel


1.Bize biraz kendinden bahsetsene, ismini nereden aldığın, hangi ülkeden olduğun gibi mesela??
Henry Arundel ismini seçtim çünkü zamanında bir proje için Norfolk Dükü’nü araştırıyordum ve Henry Arundel de o zamanki Dük’ün varisinin ismiydi. Bu oyun hesabını Ajay Güney Afrika’yı PTOlamaya çalışırken özellikle açtım ki bunun benimle ilgili olduğunu ve kendisini birisinin durdurmaya çalışmakta olduğunu anlamasın.

2 eRepublik’e ne zaman ve nerede rastladın?

eRep’e 2007’de bir izcilik forumundaki referrer ile başladım, bir süre oynadım. örnek bir iki-tıkçıydım. Hergün bile girmedim oyuna. v1 başlatıldığında bütün arkadaşlarım oyunu bıraktığından ve yeni oyun modülünü sevmediğimden hesabımın silinmesini istedim. James S. Pfeiffer hesabıyla birkaç ay sonra geri döndüm çünkü okuldan bir arkadaşımın facebook’taki referrer aradığı mesajını gördüm. Bir hesap açıp, level atlatıp ona yardımcı olmak istedim. O kısa bir süre sonra oyunu bıraktı, ben de Federaller ve Meclis işlerine dahil oldum. Henry Arundel de, yukarıda söylediğim gibi, Pfeiffer’ın banlanmasından hemen sonra başladı.

3.Senin için eRepublik’teki favori özellik nedir? Oyunda en çok neden keyif alıyorsun?

Insanlar. Burada arkadaş edindiğini söylemeyen herkes suratına bir tekme yemeyi hakediyor. Forum ve Irc her zaman bu oyunun can özü oldu çünkü onlar bizi diğer oyunculara bağlıyorlar. Burada eRep’i son kez geride bıraktıktan sonra da bırakmayacağım arkadaşlar edindim.

4.Bize, birçoğumuzun sana karşıdan bakarak bilemeyeceği birşey söyle.

Kafamın tam tepesinde, bir tane ben var. Kafamı kazıtsam bile onu doğru düzgün göremezsiniz, ama o orada.

USWP’yi tekrar oluşturan Eski Liberty Prime, orjinal Federalistler, ve 09 tayfası, muhteşemsiniz. Bunların dışında birkaç düzine daha isim sayabilirim ama pek hoş olmaz.
