Entertainment Edition IV

Day 2,253, 09:45 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

In this Entertainment Issue, I'm going to do a strictly lyrical issue, apart from the usual movie and band review. I'll also be including the usual readers' favorites.

The Mob - Raised in a Prison

Raised in a prison with iron bars
And walls too high to be climbed
Raised in a four cornered corridor
Always kept silent and blind

Taught how to grow straight and upright
Taught how to love and obey
Taught how to speak when you're spoken to
And then taught what you can say

Throw into a job at a factory
Making money for those up above
Running and fetching and fetching and running
Slot into the job like a glove

Marry a boy from the factory
whose dream was a girl like you
running and fetching and fetching running
She was taught this was what she should do

Renting a house on the East Side of hell
With garden and wonderful view
Of kids playing war in the street after school
Who were taught this is what they should do

Watching the TV till hubby comes home
Unable to stand on his feet
Black and White pictures of policemen with sticks
Smashing fuck out of kids on the street

Raised in a prison with iron bars
And walls to high to be climbed
Raised in a four cornered corridor
Always kept silent and blind

Dead Kennedys - Kill the Poor

Efficiency and progress is ours once more
Now that we have the Neutron bomb
It's nice and quick and clean and gets things done
Away with excess enemy
But no less value to property
No sense in war but perfect sense at home:

The sun beams down on a brand new day
No more welfare tax to pay
Unsightly slums gone up in flashing light
Jobless millions whisked away
At last we have more room to play
All systems go to kill the poor tonight

Gonna
Kill kill kill kill Kill the poor:Tonight

Behold the sparkle of champagne
The crime rate's gone
Feel free again
O' life's a dream with you, Miss Lily White
Jane Fonda on the screen today
Convinced the liberals it's okay
So let's get dressed and dance away the night

While they:
Kill kill kill kill Kill the poor Tonight

Forgotten Rebels - In Love With the System

Every new government's more expensive than the last,
watch the fresh ways they have to waste our taxes fast.
You can try to hang me. I'll make sure the rope gets broke.
Proving once again, this country's justice is a joke.

I'm in love with the system, always all alone.
I'm in love with the system, never going home.
I'm in love with the system, never find no work.
I'm in love with the system not myself.

He don't care for issues like national unity,
or conscription, or who owns the fleur de lis.
Donnez lui ce quils ont choisiraient.
Vive la Quebec Libre et vive les separatistes.

He's in love with the system, always all alone.
He's in love with the system, never going home.
He's in love with the system, never finds no work.
He's in love with the system, what a jerk.

He thinks unemployment is the government's fault.
He wants to bring the system to a crashing halt.
He wants something to do. He needs money today.
Working at the post office just to strike for higher pay.
He's in love with the system, always all alone.

He's in love with the system, never going home.
He's in love with the system, never finds no work.
He's in love with the system not himself.

MY CURRENT MISSION

I still have another article to put out today or tomorrow with an interview. I also will be, along with Paddy Obrien, finishing up the tournament tomorrow. To conclude I'll also be continuing things with the ILP this term as PP. I've been fighting mostly in Canada and Russia lately, occasionally heading to Peru as well.
