Empires : easy or not ? Sacrifice or not ?
Ely.nea
Since we had Air Strike, every country can be invited where it wants.
Is it a good thing from admins?
Before AS, countries who wanted to make war to another one, had to cross in several countries, make some diplomacy to pass.
A road was sometimes difficult. -) Country without border.
I liked that before, because that was a part of strategy. Maybe it's easier now to make wars for little countries, but what do you think about strong countries?
Indeed small countries can take a part in a stategy now, but who is the limit for one empire. It needs territories.
Do you think it's easy to stay one empire. Advantages or difficulties ?
I made several analysis :
Top 5 countries who have more regions :
1 ) eUSA - 66 regions - SIRIUS
2) eChile - 45 regions - AURORA* Empire
3) eChine - 39 regions - ASTERIA
4) eGreece - 34 regions - ASTERIA
5) eArgentina - 27 regions - ASTERIA * Empire
Several formers empires are now in troubles.
I think about eSerbia, eHungary ....
Now what can we see about those countries who were empires (i just put examples) have only 10 regions now.
ePoland is the only one who have 21 regions (not bad !).
Is it then easy to stay one empire ? You need a lot of assistance of your allies.
You need to defend regions. More regions, more resistances.
Of course, countries who have a lot of regions, have a lot of ressources.
I made a list of countries from different alliances.
... (i can't put countries who are in a side or other one, without alliance).
The alliance with most balance?
eUSA the principal winner in this alliance ?
eChile the principal winner in this alliance ?
About LETO : a lot of countries are in troubles
11 members :
France (5 regions from eUK), Portugal (9 regions), Peru (1 region), Republic of China (the only one who have 25 regions), Canada (no region), Iran (no region), Colombia (13 regions), Belarus (6 regions), Republic of Moldova (1 region), Israel (1 region) and Montenegro (3 regions).
Are big countries (empire) a better target later in this game or do we have eternal ennemies (a lot of regions or not) ?
1 ° Who will be the next target ?
2 ° Have new empires a better strategy ?
3 ° Made few countries in an alliance a sacrifice for others?
4 ° Is the diplomacy (to have friends in a lot of countries)important ?
You can answer in comments what you think about empires or countries (like eUsa) who have a lot of regions.
Don't forget one thing. If you can see big countries, they need territories, that's why we can see a lot of countries who have just one region, or wiped.
The last question :
We can be in a big country without forgetting that everything can change in a few days. In this game, we must make the good choice !
Freedom for little countries !!!
My langage usually is french, sorry if you sew my bad english, i try to be better 😁
I made this article without new regions who would be add with resistances !

ah i will change that. Sorry a mistake : )
done 😁
It all has to do with the strategies of certain countries and their allies; some countries are too strong; other ones are too weak. It's imbalance that rules. The same is applicable in eBelgium.
that's the problem with little countries who must follow big countries.
The Administrators should create certain tools to help weaker and smaller countries. But if they are really interested in doing it and whether they have intentions to change something; is another unanswered question. The game by itself is pretty boring with all these Tournaments with worthless awards; and all these implemented changes didn't bring anything new into the game.
They made AS to push little countries to attack others, but they had profit to do that. One Air strike costs a lot. In the end, AS are more for big countries.
The real purpose of AS is tactical and strategical. Bur how many of these smaller countries have really profited out of it; I don't think there are many of them who made something out of it. It also costs some money, but it's only virtual money, gold and food. I am not against it as it gives more attacking options.
Nice article, voted ofc. 😉

BaraBum is right when he says it is all about strategy.
I've been in eUSA for a lot of time, I can tell you that their Government and MU's from all the country are very organized. They think a lot about every movement they will do. I'm sure this is what brings them such a good success.
Also, little countries must follow big countries in their wars in order to -hope to- receive a bit help of their power when little ones are in trouble. This is what always happens.
I did like a lot this article.

Nice read o/
In terms of the Air Strike feature, I think its been a great addition. We're getting wars between nations which would otherwise have never bordered each other. And it's given us some great conflicts and opportunities for funny trolling with the numerous FAILstrikes. Plus in last year's TWO assault on the eUS some smaller ACT nations were used to effectively drain eUS damage by Air Striking the eUS in tandem with conventional attacks by some major TWO countries. Which proved successful as eUS/CoT damage was split in half a dozen conflicts.
The 'Top 5 countries who have more regions' category is problematic because the eUS have such a huge advantage due to the fact Erep used the State-structure of RL United States to divide the eUS, meaning they were given 50-something regions. Which has proven to be a big and incredibly unfair advantage for them. Compare somewhere like Uruguay which has only a single region, or perma-superpowers like Poland/Serbia which have a faction of the eUS's regions. So in truth Chile should top that category, say if you subtracted core regions and just used the conquered regions stat.
You mention diplomacy, which is interesting because if you look at the map and the current empires, you'll notice the only two are Argentina and Chile. Both of whom owe their current success not just to their military strength but to excellent diplomatic work. We all remember their long war that seemed to go on for more than a year, but now they have a peace agreement plus a treaty (TETAS), and both sides are thriving, and even sharing damage, despite the fact they're on opposite sides. So that's a great example of what competent diplomacy can do, if other countries involved in longterm conflicts were able to apply it they'd likely reap the same rewards (+ the map wouldn't look like "Battlefront Europe", like it does now)
Good points there.
On the diplomacy front, the only smart way to trust eArgentina is if you have a pistol to their eheads with the trigger half pulled. Otherwise you'll join the list of enations they've stabbed in the back after believing their diplomacy.
Still going on about the phantom Arg "betrayal" then...?
You should just content yourself that Chile and co. are happy to do eIreland's fighting for them now, rather than moan on because someone else (Arg in this case) didn't want to.
Just not trusting them. I'm not interested in having eArgentina helping us.
thanks for your answers, i'm on phone, i can't answer more today; but it's always pleasure to see a nice debate. : )
For the top 5 NFW i was in obligation to put eUSA because i wanted to share that several countries had a lot of regions, Not to say : look this super power. I sew little countries or formers big countries with only 1,2 or 3 regions. I wanted to know in fact why several countries are able to have longer more regions, or not.
nice article

It's a bit illogical to compare the eUS with others in terms of regions held since they have an awful lot of core regions, maybe the measure of (# of regions held in comparison to # of core regions as a percentage) would be more adequate.
my article is done to talk about countries who have a lot of regions like little countries who have just one or two régions. 😁
The AS can also be a tool to make smaller nations attractive to bigger alliances. It is a lot cheaper for a large nation such as eUSA or eChina to provide the funding needed for the upcoming eCuba to AS someone and then join in on MPP battles, than it is for them to AS on their own. That has been successfully used several times.
Your English is much better than my French 🙂

Awesome article Elynea, awesome english too 😃
Well, I hope one day I can spent some time in a big country to know them reality. For us, small countries, we have to invest everything in the diplomatic area to "survive" month after month, or spent real money as hell. xD
Votado OME!!!
great ART I really liked it 😃
