Election Review for the Top 6 Parties
I want to start off this article for apologizing to my beloved readers for not writing in 4 days. Life has been busy right now with school, sports, friends, and a lot of other stuff. But tonight I am back with a brand new article. Today I will be reviewing the elections that took place yesterday. I am not just going to give you a boring re-cap of the results that you have probably seen a million times but I am going to give my thoughts on who win and my thoughts on whether they should have won. I will recap the top 6 parties, starting NOW.
Canadian Social Democrats
In a surprise twist, Cleomynestra Cathak beat Trenton Rendell by a whopping 92 to 29 victory in votes. Many allegations have been bandied about over this result and claims of multi-accounts on Cleo's part have arose. I can understand why though. Cleomynestra Cathak I have never heard of before in my two months that I have been here. The only time I have seen the name before is when she had a whopping amount of congress votes. I am not going to make any accusations though because nothing has been proved yet. On the other hand, there is Trenton Rendell who should have won easily. Rendell has been campaigning hard and it was disappointing that he lost. He was a supporter of DAL and seeing him in power would have been good for the CSD and eCanada.
Canadian Empire Party
In one of the biggest surprises in eCanada history, Bruck beat our marcchelala by a whopping 77 to 17 massacre. eCanada went in a frenzy after they found this out and were shocked at the results. One person ended up fainting and injured his head on a marcchelala party president bobblehead. Bruck was on vacation to Hawaii at the time because he entered the party president elections off a dare from his buddies and was astounded to know he won. marcchelala was more stupefied than Augustus Baldwin trying to clip his toenails. Look for this to get a lot of news in the papers today.
Progressive Party of Canada
1ronman continued his reign in the Progressive Party of Canada with a commanding win over Modu Shanyu. The votes were 44-12 in 1ronman's favour and it was a lopsided election. 1ronman is a great choice for this party and I think he would be an amazing president of eCanada. The only thing preventing that is the "Coalition for Change" the PPC participates in with the Canadian Empire Party. Everyone has different opinions obviously, but if PPC were to leave the CFC and run as an invidividual party, I would love to join back with the PPC. But I want to be in a "Progressive" party, which you would think the PPC would be. Anyways, congrats to 1ronman on his victory!
Parti National du eQuebec
To be honest, I have no clue what is going on with this party, who it is that is leading it or what direction is it heading in? I am not 100% sure and forgive me for being under-informed but I am pretty sure Miloslav is an eCanadian and not someone from the Hungarian takeover. If this is true, then it is good to see this party back on its feet and looking to make a name for itself once again in this country. I am not sure what this party's views are or what direction they are looking to head but I am happy to see they have some stability back in their party with Miloslav as their president.
Canadian Paradox Party
This party is a wildcard to me. I know absolutely nothing about this party or the president for that matter. Sadly, this election was probably the closest one there was yesterday as Tom Hagen beat Adasko by a score of 19 to 10 votes, respectively. I know nothing about what this party's views, goals or opinions are and all I know about Tom Hagen is he is one of the oldest members of eCanada. This party has a decent number of members and I believe that if they truly wanted to, they could push for a lot of power in eCanada and shape it the way they see things fit. But I don't know much about this party so I can't comment anymore unfortunately.
Democratic Action League
I decided to include this party just because it is my party but David Eastcorner had 12 votes and was the only runner so he takes home the presidency of DAL. DAL doesn't have many members but David Eastcorner is looking to turn that around after Dominik stepped down from the position. Congratulations David Eastcorner and I hope you can take this party to where it has never been before.

Great review for a newbie like me. I just got in this "world" about 11 days ago and it helps me to understand some "basics" of what's happening in eCanada.
everyone join the DAL!!!!!
good article btw
Thanks, your article has helped me understand the political landscape better
Good article nice to start getting familiar with some of the politics in eCanada
What Derek failed to mentionw as the incredibly close race for the CLP Party leadership, won by myself, rowlock...Anyways, we are party #7 for the time being, but that will all change in the near future. If you are in favour of lower taxes, and an environment that encourages and supports maximum growth, come check out the CLP!
Here is our new Forum as well - http://theclp.proboards.com/index.cgi
The PNQ is free of the Hungarian threat. We put measures to don't let this append twice.
nice. i like. I subscribe to your paper.
Good article Derek. If you wish to learn anything more about myself or the CPP I am willing to undertake an interview with you. Let me know.
