The election (mechanically) was a moderate failure. Meh.

Game over. I didn't get to vote. Broken API. Meh. Moving on...

UPDATE: 10:56pm eRep time: I come up with these previous monthly CP vote figures:

April: 2794 May: 3214 June: 2829 July: 1927 Average: 2691

So, it'll be interesting to see how many (estimated) voters were disenfranchised by this election. That said, in every one of those elections, the trend set in the first hour continued, or even increased, in all four of the previous elections.

A trend 😕= to a fair election, however. But it does show that with what history we have to base projections on, the winner by noon eRep time has won the last four elections, and probably would have won this one.

UPDATE: Monday 8:09 eRep time. I was provided this official release from Inwegen, Director, Operation Swift Fury, under which this Primary Election falls:

"The API servers have been having problems all afternoon. This is completely on the Admin's side of things. At this point it appears that it is down and may not come back up. This is an unfortunate occurrence that just happened to happen on the same day as our primary."
