DIA DUIT eCUBA!

Inauguro esta nueva temporada con una nueva ciudadanía, una nueva etapa, una nueva eVida que disfrutar. Para empezar, agradecer a los compañeros del Foro Nacional de eCuba que han estado acompañando y conformando la futura comunidad de esta pequeña gran nación y que se enfrenta a dificiles retos las próximas semanas… (y yo de exámenes… purrr purrrr)

I inaugurate this new season with a new citizenship, a new stage, a new e-life to enjoy. To begin with, thank the colleagues of the Cuban National Forum, whom have been accompanying and shaping the future community of this great little nation and now faces difficult challenges coming weeks ... (and i with exams ... purrr purrrr)

ANALISIS ELECTORAL // ELECTION ANALYSIS

Tres regiones, treinta congresistas a repartir entre los cinco partidos de eCuba:

PARTIDO DEL PUEBLO DE CUBA


Elegidos a través del Foro Nacional via votación, se presenta como la fuerza hegemónica en la isla obteniendo la mayoría de los escaños. Solo el tiempo dirá si esta coalición de jugadores de habla hispana se mantiene firme en su afán por gobernar la isla.

Chosen through the National Forum, theese congressmen are presented as the dominant force on the island getting the most seats. Only time will tell if this coalition of Spanish-speaking players are adamant in their quest to rule the island.

PARTIDO DE CUBA


Procedentes de las regiones helénicas, este pequeño grupo de jugadores se posiciona junto al Partido de la Liberación como los principales aspirantes al dominio isleño. Aunque en sus artículos argumentan su posición al lado de Cuba, el reto de la integración con el resto de los habitantes de la isla es su escollo más importante tras los primeros enfrentamientos al crearse el pais.

From the Greek regions, this small group of players is positioned next to the Partido de la Liberacion as the main contenders for the island rule. Although his articles argue its position aside Cuba, the challenge of integration with the rest of the inhabitants of the island is its most important hurdle after the first clashes with the latin community

PARTIDO DE LA LIBERACIÓN


De procedencia Serbia, esta formación ha quedado empatada con el Partido de Cuba en número de escaños y afrontan el mismo problema que su contrapartida helena si bien, la reciente concesión de ciudadanías ha generado desconfianza entre la población nativa.

Of Serbian origin, this formation has been tied with the Party of Cuba in number of seats and face the same problem that their hellenic counterpart, although the recent granting of citizenships has generated mistrust among the native population.


CUBAN SOCIAL PARTY


Creado por ciudadanos croatas, el CSP fué el primer partido del pais fundado apenas unos minutos despues de su nacimiento. Su principal objetivo es detener cualquier intento de Take Over por parte de los Serbios y, a ser posible, atraer a la nación a la faccion de Sirius/Aurora. Con 5 congresistas, quedan por detras de sus rivales serbios y en cuarta posición.

Created by Croatian citizens, the CSP was the first country party founded just a few minutes after nation's birth. Its main goal is to stop any attempt serbian PTO, and, if possible, attract the nation to Sirius / Aurora faction . With 5 congressmen, they remain behind their serbian rivals and as fourth political force in the island.


eUSA MILITARY PARTY


Y ahora, el mas simpatico de los partidos, pero no por ello menos importante, el partido militar de los Estados Unidos de America (redobe de tambores)… que vuelve a la carga en su particular cruzada y repetir la hazaña de Bahia Cochinos.

And now, the most cute of the parties, but not least important, the Military Party of the United States of America (drums roll) ... who returns to the fray in his personal crusade to repeat the great feat of Bahia Cochinos.








¿Que sacamos en claro de todo esto? que Cuba, lejos de constituirse en una Utopía desde el inicio, ha pasado a dividirse políticamente en partidos de un marcado caracter étnico. Latinos, Croatas, Serbios y Griegos frente a frente constituyen las facciones de esta isla. Grupos que, se ven obligados a superar su diferencias traidas de sus naciones de origen si quieren convertir a Cuba en una nación prospera y con perspectivas de futuro.

What we get clear about all this? that Cuba, far from constituting a Uthopia from the beginning, it's been politically divided into parties of a strong ethnic character. Latinos, Croats, Serbs and Greeks are facing each other in this island. Groups that are forced to overcome their differences brought from their home countries if they want to turn Cuba into a prosperous nation and with future.

¿Se convertirá Cuba en una nación independiente que pueda valerse por si misma?¿o las rivalidades nacionales partirán el pais y lo sumira en la ruina y el colonialismo?

So. Will Cuba become an independent nation that can defend for itself? Or national rivalries will divide the country putting it into ruin and colonialism?


Quizas, y solo quizas, el mismo eMundo nos dará el instrumento que necesitamos para prevalecer.

Maybe, and just maybe, the eWorld will give us the instrument we need to prevail.
