EHistory: The Cua debacle Mufc gets it wrong.

Day 2,332, 02:40 Published in Ireland Ireland by Releasethe Krakken

A little while back a then several times CP Mufc announced plans to join a brotherhood that would later form into an alliance. As with Aurora there was 2 choices presented to the people: Join CUA or dont join CUA.

As expected the "people"voted to join CUA or the nations of Colombia Argentina and Uruguay. Obviously this had drawbacks the distance between nations the most significant.

The positive sell point was that Argentina had just completed a baby boom and was now the largest nation in the eWorld.

How was this to unfold. A very boisterous MUFC declared eUk our natural enemy. Soon after the Argentinians airstriked them.

For a couple of days eUk was wiped but the positive vibes would soon be over. Argentina had taken a big bite and had an ongoing war with Brazil at the time.

Brazil went into high gear and crushed the Argentinians and eventually wiped Argentina.

Meanwhile Poland stepped up to the party and removed Argentina from the British isles.

Eireland was caught in a trap of its devices. How would they react would they survive.

No! eUk within a few days wiped Ireland and then kept them wiped for a couple of weeks. Argentina had by this time hopped alliances and was now in bed with Poland/eUk/Spain the former alliance of TWO.

Mufc bolted from eIreland and went to life in shame in eCroatia where he was eventually cast out off.

What it meant to me is that the principles of online games was reinforced. I basically came from a war type game The West where players attacked other alliances forts and would in a mini game attack the fort at night.

Principles is very easy:

1. Take consideration of the limitations of the Internet. Complicated plans never work. The more people that got the follow a plan the less complicated it needs to be.

2. Big alliances is required to wage war in any game. All online games is basically a numbers game. If you dont have the numbers you wont have the victories.

3. Unity is important : In the west we were known as the Union and was just a couple of alliances that formed into 1 big alliance.

4. Arrogant and over confident leaders always will lead to your demise in game: In Troy my alliance in Tribal Wars we had a leader kepezdalyan that was very arrogant and wanted to wage war at all costs. When the "bigger" alliances decided to rejoin it was our end we were at that time the biggest alliance in the region and wiped the bigger alliance from the map. I can still remember his weak response when we eventually faced a challenge from the bigger guys: We have decided that no -one should get support. Immediately he decided to place his own welfare in front of the bigger picture.

So what could Ireland learn from this: Ireland should have learned the 4 basics I summarized unfortunately the Irish is hard of learning and will continue making the same mistakes
