Edition 15: A Presidential Candidate and an Epic Fail

Welcome to yet another edition of the Anvil! I’m still here and I will be for quite a while to come. I want to apologize ahead of time if I do not seem like myself. I will get to that later on in this edition. With most of America back in our hands life is starting to return to normal. American and Allied forces continue to keep up the assault against PEACE and are currently preparing to liberate the last two regions of America and the last three regions of Canada before all of North America is liberated. We must continue to fight for our homeland, but we cannot forget those who have helped us achieve this Victory.

The Scandinavian countries were right there with us fighting by our side and watching our back the entire time. Right now Russia is making a move against them they will do their best to destroy those counties, for their part in the vicious defeat of the Russian Forces in North America. We cannot and will not abandon our allies and we shall fight right alongside with them to protect their homes just as they did for us in our most desperate hour of need. Russia needs to remember that while they may be small and weak, those countries fight with the ferocity of a thousand wolves.



Now Iran your thinking you are so badass, you killed a little nation with very few soldiers and no MPPs, wow your are big and strong now (Yes, hugely obvious sarcasm). When in fact you are nothing more than a bus boy who keeps dropping the plates. Straighten out your act seriously, figure out the truth, that you are simply a pawn made to do your master’s bidding When the true fighting starts you are so outclassed it isn’t even funny, just remember what happened in Canada to keep yourselves humble.



Now we move on to the more well known side of the news, the epic massive godlike failure of the election system that put me and one hundred and nineteen other candidates into congress, I’m glad to say I am one of the people who laughed took screenshots and went to bed and awoke to them thankfully fixing the problem that was so wrong it wasn’t funny. I want to be in congress, but I want to earn it. Not have it given to me. Well here are those screen shots, some of which are rather good.













Now we come on to our special guest of this edition. I know everyone seems to like this; my recent jump in subscribers seems to point this out. So I will continue to do this as often as I can. My Guest today is widely known and respected in the eUnited States and is currently running for President! Indeed! Ladies and gentleman please welcome Woxan!

1. Why do you want to be President?

I want to be President because I believe we need to revamp some domestic issues that have been neglected by previous administrations. Our education, citizen retention, and mentor programs need more volunteers and focus put into them to make our populace into the best and the brightest. I also want to work on bringing more neutral nations and PEACE members on the outskirts of the alliance onto our side. Many neutral countries have suffered at the hands of PEACE and PEACE has ignored many of its own members, like France during the Spanish occupation.

2. How do you think we should prosecute this war?

First and foremost, we need to drive PEACE out of Canada, Scandinavia, and our own states. Our allies stood by us in our time of need, and now it is time for us to stand by them. Russia and the United Kingdom are hellbent on destroying our ally Norway, who's attack on Mainland Russia allowed us to regain initiative and drive the Russians, Colombians, and French out of North America. Once we repel PEACE out of our territories and from the lands of our allies, we should focus on liberating regions held by PEACE. Iran, Russia, Hungary, and Indonesia hold neutral territories, and in some cases, their own allies's territories. We and our allies drove the UK out of Canada, France out of Spain, Turkey out of Israel and Greece, and with our allies we pushed Indonesia out of North America. PEACE's imperialism must come to an end, and we will drive them back to their original borders.

3. What are your thoughts on the current taxes?

As Director of the Economic Council, I worked with others and created the tax structure we have now. It provides excellent government revenue and allows us to fund an efficient, dedicated, and powerful military. Our low imports allow us access to the cheapest goods in the world, and allow us to maximize our damage.

4. Where do you stand on the national infrastructure rebuilding?

At the moment, two hospital fortresses are ideal. When our population expands to a certain point, I'd love to see the establishment of a 3rd fortress, either in the interior or North-east states. We should place defense systems in naturally high pop states as a precaution. These large states we will never fully drive the citizens into our Q5 regions, but they can still contribute to our defense in an attempted attack on our country.

5. Why did you choose Cerb as your running mate when many people expected you to choose Tormod, your RL Roommate?

Cerb is an active and trustworthy American. I know that I can depend on him to help me carry out the duties of the Presidency and keep the government running at top notch shape. He and I agree on many issues and I know that I can count on his support in times of crisis.

6. What do you think of the incumbent Gaius Julius?

Gaius has done a good job, but I believe I bring something else to the table. Our domestic issues are still heavily ignored and need to brought up to speed to ensure our long-term success.

7. What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?

My greatest strengths are the economy and the ability to surround myself with well informed, talented and capable people who can fulfill their jobs and offer me advice. My weakness? Green Tea ice cream. That stuff is the shit.

8. Who is your favorite RL President?

Andrew Jackson. That guy threw wild parties at the White House and crushed the British at New Orleans while being vastly outnumbered. That takes some srs skill.

9. What do you think of the AAP’s recent actions in hardly contributing in the anti-PTO efforts?

I agree that a bigger contribution to the USAF and our allies should have occurred. I'd like to push for the abolishment of the party politics in America and get as many Americans signed up into the USAF to combat PTOs as possible.

9. When and why did you first join eRepublik?

February 6, 2009. I saw an ad on a political blog and the concept intrigued me.

10. What is the funniest thing that has happened to you in your time on eRepublik?

When shoot PTO'd the Germans without their knowledge. Brilliant

Now I have something to say on a personal level before I end this. I mentioned I am not myself this edition because I am not. I will not mention specifics…ever, this part is especially to one of my RL best friends who play’s this game and will read this, I don’t want a call or a message from you about this. I am having a personal issue at the moment that is entirely my fault so thank you for your patience. This is why my writing may seem different.
