EDEN's Greatest Hits

Day 1,176, 08:36 Published in USA USA by Blanemcc

With the time of EDEN coming to an end, I felt that now was the appropriate time to take a look back on what I believe were the top 5 moments in EDEN's history. For simplicity's sake, EDEN includes the United States in this article, mainly because we were once a member and were more or less still working partners with EDEN up until the funding of PANAM.

Lets begin

#5 - Gay Pride Russia

Glorious. What more can be said?

The occupation of Russia was unbelievable. Under President Krems, the United States had successfully occupied Far Eastern Russia/Western Alaska. Fighting hard - very hard - we pushed right in to Russia, parking ourselves in her frigid rear end. We then had North Korea swap China and Poland in to position while Romania came in from Europe alongside the second Polish front. Russia was wiped and occupied until after the 25th, giving open citizenship. While we were unable to PTO our arch-nemesis, we still caused no small amount of havoc.

All in all, we completely humiliated the Russkies, and they still haven't recovered from this blow. At least not entirely.

#4 - Hungary Hungary Hippo

Last year, EDEN was enjoying a major wave of successes against Pheonix. Pheonix were struggling to contain EDEN's strength, which resulted in several countries being wiped on their side. These included Portugal, Russia, Turkey, Slovenia...and Hungary.

Hungry for some revenge following being wiped themselves, Croatia teamed up with Romania to bring the pain. Hungary was reduced to one region in short order, before being wiped. It was a short vacation from the world map, but seeing one of Pheonix's powerhouses driven under was just marvelous.

If you didn't fistpump you're an iron curtain commie.

#3 - Spoland Eats Everything

Following World War III, both Poland and Spain enjoyed moderate baby-booms and a drastic rise in military strength. So of course, they both decided to go on a bit of a rampage across Europe.

While Spain tore through France, Poland anihilated Germany, joining up with the Spaniards on their conquest. The two nations were at their peak power, they were pumped up. All was going well up until they started threatening to invade the US, which contributed to our decision to leave the alliance.

Nevertheless, it was an interesting time.

#2 - Ninja Tank

After months of trying to take that sucker through one on one battles with the Huns, we finally took it in one of the greatest moves ever. With mere hours to go, EDEN forces dropped an ungodly amount of damage on the battle, catching the enemy with their pants down.

Just watch the video. Nostalgia has never been so sexy.

#1 - World War III

Some of you will be scratching your heads here wondering how I can say that World War III was our greatest moment. I've thought it through, and I'll break it down.

During World War III we were besieged on all sides. Russia, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, France, Britain and Portugal all wanted a piece of us.

Our Canadian bros went under.
Our Spanish bros also went under.

It was a dark time, let's not skirt around it. We fought hard, but there was nothing we could do. Nothing. State after State fell, until all that remained was Maine and Florida, then only our Fortress State.

And then out of nowhere, we started to turn the tide.

This guy had a lot to do with it

Spain were back. Canada came back. Indonesia were pushed out, the Portuguese were pacified. Russia were booted out. Canada completely humiliated the Iranians after the DoW fiasco. After months of war, we finally pushed the Huns out after the epic Nunavut and Manitoba battles.

Do you remember those times?

They were great. The greatest. Two of the greatest Presidents we have ever had in the form of Emerick and Gaius. The community was tight. Our allies were tighter. Never before had we been so close, and never since.

World War III was EDEN's greatest moment. Not because of how we fought back against the Peace GC hordes, but because of how it brought us all together.
