Economical information April-May 2013

As Minister of Economy, one of my duties is to inform regularly the Nation about our economical situation, which is very important for the Government to keep working on the help programs that are offered to all our new citizens.

That is why, due to the new regulations approved in Congress two weeks ago, that increased the Import taxes for weapons, iron and grain in our beloved country, in order to help the Saudi businessmen be more competitive and to increase our National wealth, we can give you some information about the progress we made applying them.

The total income of these last two weeks (approximately 12-13 days) is of 9.120,02 SAR. The first week since the fiscal reforms we earned 3.691,16 SAR. But what is mostly interesting is to compare the TOTAL amount of money we earned in April 2013: 12.315,50 SAR. This information shows us that we earned in just ONE month 12.315,50 SAR, while since the reforms we have been earning day by day during two weeks 9.120,02 SAR, which is more than a half of last month total income.

Our current account in the Saudi basic Treasury is today, the 5th May 2013 up to 6.9520,95 SAR and our total amount of SAR in the National Treasury page is up to 586779.54 SAR. Our total amount of GOLD is 720.41 and it comes mostly from 5 GOLD donations expected from all our Congressmen once they are chosen.
