Introducing eMerican Idol!
It is what it sounds like, a singing competition for you! We will take any person who is a citizen of the brolliance, submits an application, and create a weekly competition, at the end of which we will crown a winner the eMerican Idol.
If you have a microphone and a mouth, we want you to try out. You never know just how well you might do.
NOTE: If you have a microphone for Rock Band, SingStar, Lips, Guitar Hero, or the like, and it connects to your console via USB, that will work.
Entry Requirements
Audition must be under 3 minutes long
Must be uploaded in MP3 format
No profane lyrics or subject matter
"Profane" is at my discretion
By submitting your song, it becomes the property of the event organizer
You may back out at any time, but your song remains the property of the event organizer
There is no reentry after backing out
Open to all with Brolliance Nation citizenship
Deadline for entry is November 7th

I have a pretty good singing voice sometimes, but I'm not a fan of the TV show and my computer-associate mike is a 10 year old piece of crud. So... Good luck with this anyhow. 😃

Wow, I really hope some people enter this competition. I noticed you chose a song length of 3 minutes or less, so people are going to be stuck doing only part of a song, or a really short song.
To be clear. I am not personally involved with this endeavor. I am just promoting it.
