It is being almost a full month since I first joined Immigration Office of eChina as an Officer. As during work I find there is normally a common ignorance among applicants on how to effectively and efficiently apply for eChina citizenship, mainly on this purpose is this article written for giving some personal suggestion.

For your convenience, the full application procedure will be attached by end.

Golden Rule No.1
Never ever try to exchange citizenship with money or any other benifit.
Things happen everyday that many people try to bribe eChinese officers or comgressmen to exchange citizenship, either with gold or votes. Remember that this behaviour will only result in your name being permanently added to our immigration blacklist and all your application losing chance to pass from that on.
Golden Rule No.2
Planning you application in advance at proper time
All immigration application processing will stop during 22nd - 27th each month because of the congress election. Normally it will start again after 1st in next month when all new immigration officers are ready for work.
Golden Rule No.3
Don't make your life harder by choosing an inappropriate application channel
If you are really ready for an application, you must know that there are three channels provided. Seldom people realise that how important it is to choose a channel right matching their conditions.

[CP channel]
This channel is provided to those people who can get guarantees from CPs of their OWN. If you really have considerable influence in your country that your current CP is willing to provide guarantee for you, you are supposed to take this channel without any hesitate. All you need to do is ask your CP write a message in game to eChinese CP with indicating your willing of join us. Then you just need to fill up the application form and wait for decision. In this way an INTERVIEW and APPLICATION DEPOSIT can be AVOIDED, and also the normal immigration quota on monthly basis for each country will not be applied on you.

Please remember that CPs are so busy because they have so many PMs every day to deal with, so following this will only benefits yourself with shortening your waiting period.

[ECIA channel] (EC International Army)
If you realy want to fight for us but you don't have a strong background, you can consider this way. ECIA is a MU grouping up all foreign tanks in eChina. If you decide to take this channel, you should get contact with their leader 'Tang Li' and get their permission first. As far as I'm concerned, there would be a test waiting for you to demonstrate you loyalty. Also APPLICATION DEPOSIT can be AVOIDED with ECIA channel.

[General channel]
If you do not fullfill any criteria above, you should go this way, but still there are some rules here to follow.
a. Always check the Monthly Quotas Information（NOT VISIBLE NOW) prior to launching an application.
If your CURRENT CITIZENSHIP (NEITHER ORIGINAL ONE NOR IN REAL LIFE) is not on the list, your application can NEVER pass in general channel. If your original country is on the list and have quotas left, immigrate to it first and then apply.
b. Write request and need in application
If you are in special or urgent situation, please write them in application form but not just come to our office screaming again and again instead.
c. Read denying reason carefully before reapply
If your application is denied, there must be a reason given in the status checking form. Please read it carefully and NEVER set up a new application AGAIN BEFORE you get the DENYING REASON REMOVED. Also you are not allowed to apply twice in a month if the previous one is denied unless you get our exception. Your name will be banned for that.
d. Really prepare for the interview
You should think about why you move to eChina, and then get any possible evidences based on your purpose ready for checking.
e. Never lie to us
f. Be serious during interview
When you are attending the interview, it's better to get your guarantor accompanying with you, or ask them PM us in game in advance. Listen carefully to our questions and make your answers short if possible. If you have problems in english reading, please tell us at the beginning.
g. Always keep an eye on the status checking form
Keep it as a habit as checking your land or market.
h. Be positive & active
When you find your status changes from 'Queuing' to 'IRC Interview before DayXXXX', just directly go to the IRC Channel and ask for interview. If no one is there, I suggest you write down the name of the officer who is in charge of your application from the status checking form, and then directly shoot him a PM in game to remind him that you are ready for the interview. Believe me, that will shorten your waiting time.

Be attention that any fake data provided may incur your application being rejected. As a result, your ID will be added in our black list,and your further immigration application will be permanently blocked.

Full Version of eChina Immigration Law
Applicants must swear that after they get citizenship of eChina
1. Not participate in political activities in eC, including but not limited to party president election, congress election and country president election;
2. Follow the eC market rules;
3. During PTO scenario in eChina vote only for RL Chinese players or candidate on ATO list provided by ECID during election;
4. Fight in eChina and alliance side according to eChina's Military Daily Order. Never fight against eChina.

[Immigration Application Deposit Payment]
DO NOT DO THAT BEFORE WE TELL YOU TO
In current eChinese Immigration Law, after your application is accepted, an amount of 7G application deposit is required to paid.
An exemption is given if you apply for citizenship again in 1 month after you pass it previously, or if you are applying through CP channel & ECIA channel. Also it may be reduced in special cases.
Follow these steps AFTER your application status change to 'Ready to Pass'.
7G immigration deposit by purchasing 1 CNY from Monetary Market
1,Go to Monetary Market
2,Buy CNY with G
3,Remember the number of CNY before you buy it, which is your payment number. Buy 1CNY with 7G from 'Ministry of Foreign Affairs CN'
Inform our officer in following form after it's done.

*NOTE：Deposit changed from 7000CNY to 7G happened on Day 1579, this new law will be applied on all applications after/on this day. Deposit paid with 7000 CNY before that day will still get refunds of 7000CNY later.

[Immigration Application Deposit Refunding]
For anyone who keeps good record on their promise of obeying Chinese immigration laws, you can ask for Deposit Refunding AFTER you HAVE GIVEN UP your eChinese citizenship, UNLESS during residence in eChina,
1)You were involved in Political Activities as Presidential/ Congress /Party President Candidates.
2)You once fought against us on our enemy side in critical Battles/ Campaigns
(This new law starts from 8th Feb 2012, Day 1541 of new world, Only people who immigrate to eChina after this date can ask for refunding)

[Temporarily Citizenship Changing]
If you have some urgent business that need you shortly give up eChinese citizenship, based on our current laws, if you can come back in 30 Days, you will enjoy the green channel. Which means you can bypass many citizenship application procedures so that it will be very quick and easy.

2. PM an Immigration Officer in game to process it.
3. Wait until the status of your application turns to
Proved & Approved on DayXXXX
Status Expiry By DayXXXX
4. Give up your eChinese Citizenship and be back in time.
*NOTE: In this special case 7G deposit will not be refunded immediately to save your time, but later either if you failed to get eChinese citizenship again, or provided that you have changed your plan. Wait until it expiry or ask an immigration officer to cancel it. THEN you can apply for the refunds.
