Since eIreland was robbed, I feel it is our job(as eIrish citizens) to pull ourselves out of this mess. To start it off, I'm going to be donating 100 gold to our treasury. Appleman had suggested I go through the monetary market and get IEP back for it, but I have decided not to go that route. I know the extent of the robbery was well over 2mill IEP, so donating 100 gold isn't near that, but it's a start.
If we can rebuild our treasury, more supplies can be distributed throughout the community. I would rather see us back at our original starting point faster, than struggle and "maintain" for now. So, I've done my part so far. I hope others decide to make an attempt at restoring our treasury as well in the near future.

Very nice indeed. Sadly, this isn't the first economic disaster to hit us. But a shortage of money is easier to deal with than way WAY too much.
That's true. So hopefully we can get out of this fast and move on to bigger and better things. I'm just hoping that our treasury is more secure now.

Thanks from us all. 100 gold is a lot. If all 600 Irish citizens gave that it would come to more than 2 million IEP!
Or if everyone donated 10 IEP a day it would be 180,000 a month and we can probably afford that a bit more than 100 gold!

I would second doing 10 IEP a day, that would play out perfectly. I notice a lot of people are upset about the robberies. Now it wasn't everyone who robbed, only certain individuals. As I said, it will take us to bring ourselves out of this mess.
