It’s time to play defense again. The loss of Illinois and New Jersey has turned the initiative against us. The wasted damage in Texas and Missouri would have more than made the difference in Illinois but this is the situation we are in now. This is a familiar situation: the USA is in a multi-front war with enemies that cannot be blocked or stalled. Last time this resulted in us being reduced to a single state. The difference this time is that Colombia is not Indonesia. If we concentrate our resources against Russia we can wear them down and more importantly, as they are paying for both their war and Colombia’s, we can bleed them of gold while we choose which regions to defend and wait for a change in the winds of war. Keep fighting, keep leveling up, keep getting stronger.

Oh please. I suppose you rather have Russia regain the initiative and start a counter-attack, right? As of right now, defending Texas wouldn't be a strategically sound move. Just hold tight, once Russia is gone, Columbia will be easy pickings.
Exactly... While losing the state isn't good, losing initiative is even worse. Columbia has no allies in this war, and it's just going to fail in it's attack as soon as we can focus on them.
