Direct Democracy

Day 1,722, 11:32 Published in USA USA by GloveisLove
For the first time in American history,

You decide.

I bring you, Direct Democracy.

~Glove

This is essentially a referendum for a war target. You can only vote once, if you vote more than once, all your votes will be invalidated. In order to minimize corruption and to tally votes faster, you will be PMing an org. My cabinet will count the votes and post results on a gdoc that will be released after the target has been chosen.

Below I will provide a short summary of what attacking each nation offers, as I know not everyone is familiar with foreign affairs and I do not want your vote to go uninformed.

The eUS borders Indonesia, Canada, Colombia, France, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

The only requirement to vote is that you must be eAmerican.

If you do not want my opinion on each country, simply vote now by PMing the org here with the NAME OF NATION YOU WANT TO ATTACK as the SUBJECT:

Otherwise scroll down for a brief summary of each nation.

Your citizen name and what nation you voted for will be available for the public to see after the target is chosen. Sort of like Russian roulette right? Who will fall before American superior military might? We’ll find out. Voting ends 48 hours from now.

Canada
Historically an ally of the eUSA, Canada has provided us with key land swaps during times of invasion. It was not until Evry's government that we went to war with them and saw an unease in our relations. Canada is significantly weaker militarily than us and recently I agreed to peace with their new government.

Colombia
Ally of the eUSA for over a year, Colombia joined Terra and we have good relations with them.

France
Long-term friend of eUSA, committed member of Terra, currently occupied by Poland. Upset with us due to our past government's attempt to join CTRL.

Indonesia
Traditional rival of the eUSA, Indonesia is currently under invasion by our Brozilian allies. Indonesia usually attacks its smaller neighbors, such as our allies Australia and Phillipines.

Ireland
An original member of the now defunct Brolliance alongside with eUSA and eCanada. Ireland has traditionally been in support of us, and joined Eden but now is having conflict with their HQ. Although tension does spark from time-to-time, evident with the proposed Ireland vs Canada sexy war drama.

Japan
Japan has been our side for a long time. They are currently at war with Taiwan and are a close ally of South Korea. Japan joined Terra at one point but then left and has become neutral. Japan helped us during the invasion of Canada.

Mexico
Mexico has traditionally been used as a resource colony for the eUSA. Peace has been tried many times and efforts have been made to reach rental agreements. They currently have one region.

Philippines
A small country that is constantly under attack by Indonesia. Historically an ally of eUSA.

Poland
Once a great friend of Eden and the eUSA, Poland left Eden to form ONE. The last few American governments attempted to re-ally Poland, at the expense of our French and German allies. Currently we have a Non-Aggression Pact with Poland.

Portugal
Portugal has been friendly to the eUSA for a long time. But recently, due to our NAP with Spain, they have grown upset with us. The same can be said of the Brozil-Portugal relationship.

Russia
Probably one of the most loyal nations in the game, Russia has been a loyal Terra member for a long time and aided us greatly during the North American invasion. They however have a close relationship to some CoT nations, mainly Bulgaria.

Spain
Like Poland, Spain used to be a great American ally. They however formed ONE with Poland and our enemies at the time. They have officially left ONE but still hold their MPPs. We currently have a Non-Agression Pact with them.

Taiwan
An ally of the eUSA, Taiwan has recently declared war on our other ally, Japan.

United Kingdom
Redcoats.
