Hi kids!

Just a quick congratz to DMV for winning the election. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do next month. I'll be especially interested in the meta congress and war bonds.

It was pretty much an even race all day. I was around 30% of the vote compared to Dennis having 40-45%. If I could have interested the minority candidates in supporting me I could have pulled it off. Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement and offers of help.

Anyhoo, now that it's over let's get back to the business of messin' with the USA. 🙂

Pretty much what I predicted. I was thinking more of a 10% difference but it ended up being mostly circa 15 during the whole election. Also interested to see what will happen.

To be a bit serious, it's quite possible that the people who voted for Bond might simply have abstained if he (or an equivalent) wasn't on the ballot. To assume that everyone who didn't vote for DMV3 would have voted for Dill if it was just the two of them on the ballot isn't necessarily the case.

In fact, just to tie DMV3 would require over 60% of the remaining votes. If everyone voted for one of the top two, over 80% would have had to have voted for Dill in order for him to have won.

Yeah, I got the joke. I was just using it as a segue to make a point about something you said. You had a good run but there was nothing you could have done to win other than convince more people to vote for you.
