He pasado tres días de trabajo en eIrán a la espera de que nuevas aventuras bélicas llamaran a mi puerta. No pude unirme a la defensa en las rebeliones alemanas por motivos de trabajo pero sí que lo he podido hacer defendiendo en la revuelta contra Rumanía (600 ladrillos le subí al muro). Tras analizar un poco el mercado creo que probaré a cruzar el charco y establecerme una temporada en eBrasil. Los salarios son un poco más bajos que en eIrán pero el impuesto sobre la renta es sensiblemente inferior (en eIrán está al 10😵. Además, así me documento sobre la vida en Sudamérica.

La situación en eAsia se ha estabilizado de cara a la galería pero siguen habiendo movimientos entre bastidores. eIrán ha hecho honor a su propuesta de paz (forzosa pero paz al fin y al cabo) a la eIndia y ha respetado los dos territorios que les quedan. La rebelión en eJapón fue controlada y pareció deberse a una acción de un ciudadano aislado. Para fortalecer su defensa y eliminar cualquier tipo de rumor, eJapón se ha PEACEificado más aún firmando sendos MPPs con eIrán e Indonesia.

eCorea permanece neutral y Thailandia sigue en su mundo de fantasía multicolor. En ePakistán parecen haberse terminado las regiones con materias primas interesantes así que por el momento el país sigue tranquilo. Aunque supongo que eIndonesia reclamará su porción de pastel en breve.

Pero ya analizaremos la situación en profundidad en futuros artículos. Hoy tenemos con nosotros una entrevista con Father, el actual presidente de eCorea del Sur. Se trata de un singular país pequeño e independiente, semiconquistado por eJapón y que no pertenece ni a ATLANTIS ni a PEACE. Espero que sea de vuestro interés.



ENTREVISTA A FATHER, PRESIDENTE DE eCOREA DEL SUR


EdE: eCorea es un país pequeño en el que la mayoría de territorios han sido conquistados por eJapón. Pero tenéis buenas relaciones con vuestro país vecino. Esto puede parecer extraño a los extranjeros que no sepan nada de si país. ¿Podría explicarnos algo de la historia de eCorea y su actual relación con su vecino?

Father: Unas semanas despus de que el módulo de guerra fuera introducido, allá por abril de 2008, Japón declaró la guerra a la comparativamente más reducida Corea. A pesar de la ferviente y honorable defensa Coreana, Japón se impuso finalmente en lo que es conocido como la guerra Japo-Sur Coreana, sobre la cual podéis leer más en la Wiki. Avancemos 7 meses en el tiempo hasta Noviembre de 2008 y la guerra de independencia Coreana que tuvo como resultado la devolución de tres regiones SurCoreanas a sus dueños legítimos.

En el momento actual, Corea es el país más pequeño de todo eRepublik. Y como tal, estamos bajo la amenaza continua de “take-over”. Además, a causa de recientes robos tanto en Corea (que no fue debido a un infiltrado, sino a alguien que abusó profundamente de la confianza depositada en él por el pueblo) como en Japón, ambos países están pasando por serias dificultades económicas. The Party (principal partido de Corea) y el Gobierno de Corea del Sur creen que un país pequeño es más fácilmente defendible ante “take-overs” políticos de grupos que no tengan como principales intenciones lo mejor para Corea. Es por estas razones por las que en este momento no tenemos intención de continuar la reconquista de los territorios ocupados.

EdE: La política en eEspaña es altamente voluble y en continua lucha entre izquierdistas y derechistas. En eCorea parece haber cierta controversia en relación a “The Party”. ¿Podría explicar a nuestros lectores la situación política Coreana?

Ya que somos una nación pequeña, es una convencimiento de “The Party” que la unidad y la solidaridad es el único camino posible hacia la seguridad y la prosperidad. Con ese fin proveemos un sistema de inversión Gubernamental en empresas internacionales y garantizamos el empleo. Creemos que nuestro país es demasiado pequeño como para estar dividido por disputas políticas internas cuando podemos ser objeto en cualquier momento de ataques de agentes extranjeros…

El hecho de que estemos teniendo que lidiar con un ataque financiero masivo por parte de un ciudadano consolidado de nuestro propio país ha supuesto un duro golpe pero esto hará que nos unamos y luchemos juntos más si cabe para promover y mantener la unidad Coreana.

EdE: Ha habido un reciente “take-over” del Banco Central de Corea con acusaciones a Parrot del “South Korean Party”. Los ladrones consiguieron robar 900 Gold e inyectaron 100.000 KRW en los mercados. ¿Cómo pudo ser posible? ¿Sabe quién lo hizo realmente? ¿Cuáles fueron las consecuencias para el país?

Parrot fue confiado con la gestión del Banco Central de Corea hace unas semanas por el anterior gobierno. Tras las últimas elecciones se negó a devolver el control de los fondos gubernamentales y recurrió a la extorsionar al gobierno. La investigación que aún continúa sugiere que empleó su cuenta OR personal para gastar aproximadamente la mitad de los fondos, lo cual es obsceno.

EdE: Mientras tanto, en Japón alguien (dicen que fue la Mafia iraní) consiguió sustraer 150.000 JPY. ¿Hubo alguna conexión entre ambas acciones?

No están claras las conexiones que pueden existir entre el ataque masivo a Corea y otros ataques similares internacionales, sin embargo nuestra investigación prosigue. El gobierno Coreano no tiene una postura oficial al respecto del robo en Japón, aunque nos solidarizamos con nuestros amigos del otro lado del Mar Oriental.

EdE: el mes pasado tuvieron que sobreponerse a un intento de “take-over” por parte de activistas Turcos. Hay gente que condena este tipo de acciones y otros que las consideran formas de guerra aceptables. ¿Cuál es su opinión personal sobre este tipo de maniobras? ¿Cómo hicieron para sobreponerse a la situación?

Nuestro éxito se fundamentó en una organización e inteligencia superiores. No puedo decantarme sobre la legalidad o no de dichos ataques, pero los administradores han constatado que SON legales, lo que significa que todas las naciones, y especialmente las más pequeñas, deben estar vigilantes. Salvo que los administradores provean algún tipo de salvavidas para este tipo de ataques (del tipo de un mes de carencia en cualquier tipo de derecho a voto tras un traslado internacional) debemos actuar como si estos ataques fueran legales y regulares, y sólo podremos estar seguros de nuestra defensa mientras que nuestra inteligencia y habilidades organizativas sean superiores a las de los potenciales atacantes.

EdE: ¿qué opina de la reciente conquista por parte de eIrán? ¿Amenaza al status quo Coreano?

Corea quiere mantener relaciones positivas con cualquier nación que tenga frontera con nosotros. No tenemos ninguna preferencia por uno u otro, a favor o en contra de cualquiera de las dos alianzas internacionales.

EdE: El mundo parece estar cayendo en una guerra fría de dos bloques representados por ATLANTIS y PEACE. Los países independientes o pequeños como eHungría, eIndia, eChina o eArgentina están empezado a sufrir las consecuencias. ¿Cuál es la posición de Corea en este juego de poderes?

Corea persigue las relaciones diplomáticas con ambos bloques supranacionales y con todas las naciones. La diplomacia de alto nivel es nuestra mejor arma, y la usaremos para asegurar la seguridad y prosperidad de Corea.

EdE: la vasta mayoría de eRepublicanos nunca deja su país. ¿Qué le diría a los ciudadanos extranjeros que quieran visitar y/o establecerse en Corea?

Es de nuestra opinión que cualquier economía nacional basada en el libre mercado está abocada al fracaso dadas los parámetros de eRepublik. Pero estos fallos son también excepcionalmente beneficiosos para aquellas naciones que sepan aprovecharlos. Ofrecemos a nuestros ciudadanos estabilidad y seguridad, y la oportunidad alcanzar una prosperidad individual excepcional en los negocios internacionales.

EdE: eKorea is a small country which many of his territories have been conquered by eJapan. But you are in good terms with your neighbor country. This might seem odd to foreigners who know nothing of your country. Could you explain us the story of eKorea and your present relations with your neighbor?
A few weeks after the War Mod was introduced, back in April 08, Japan declared war on the comparatively smaller Korea. Despite a fervent honorable resistance on the Korean side, the Japanese ultimately prevailed in what is known as the Japan-South Korea War, which can be read about on the wiki. Fast forward 7 months to November 2008, and the Korean Independence War which resulted in three South Korean regions being returned to their rightful owners. At this time, Korea is the smallest living nation in all of eRepublik. As such, we are under constant threat of takeover. Additionally, due to recent thefts in both Korea (not by an infiltrator but by someone who deeply abused the trust given to him by the Korean People) and Japan, both countries are in serious economic straits. The Party and Government of South Korea believe that a smaller country is more easily defensible against political takeover by groups with something other than the best interests of Korea at heart, and for these reasons we have no interest at this time in pursuing the occupied territories.

EdE:eSpain politics is highly voluble and in continuous fight between leftists and rightists. In eKorea There seems to be some controversia regarding “The Party”. Can you explain for our readers the eKorean politics?
As a small nation, it is the belief of the Party that unity and solidarity is the only path to security and prosperity. To that end we provide a system of government investment in international enterprise and guaranteed work availability. Our belief is that our country is too small to be divided by internal political argument when at any time new attacks could come from foreign agents... the fact that we are having to deal at this time with a massive financial attack by a long time citizen of our country is a blow but one that we will rally the country around and against to promote and maintain Korean unity.

EdE: There has recently been a take-over of South Korea Bank with accusations to Parrot of the South Korean Party. The robbers managed to steal around 900 Gold and further released 100.000 KRW in the market. How could that be possible? Do you know who did it? What where the consequences for the country?

Father: Parrot was entrusted with management of the SouthKoreanBank some weeks ago by a previous Government. After the latest election he refused to hand control over the government funds, and resorted to extortion demands against the government. Our investigation which is still ongoing suggests that he purchased approximately half of the funds using his own organization accounts, which is obscene.

EdE: In the meanwhile, in eJapan, someone (they say it was the Iranian Mafia) managed to steal around 150.000 JPY. Any connections between the two actions?

Father: It remains unclear at this point what connections may exist between the massive theft in Korea and other similar attacks internationally, however our investigation continues. The Korean Government has no official position on the theft in Japan, tho we sympathize with our friends across the East Sea.

EdE: Last month you had to endure an attempt of take-over by Turkish activists. Some people condemn these actions and others say they are rightful forms of war. What is your personal opinion regarding this maneuvers? How did you manage to overcome the situation?

Father: Our success was centered in superior organization and intelligence. I can't say one way or another whether such attacks should be legal or not, but the admins have indicated that they ARE legal, which means vigilance is required on the part of all nations, but especially the smaller nations. Unless admins provide some sort of safeguard against these attacks (such as a 1 month hold on voting of any kind after moving internationally) we have to operate as if these attacks will be legal and regular, and we can be assured of our defense only so far as our intelligence and ability to organize is superior to those of potential attackers.

EdE: What do you think of the recent eChina conquest and the expansion of eIran? Does it threaten eKorean status quo?
Father: Korea desires to maintain positive relations with any nations that we border. We have no bias one way or the other, for or against either extranational alliance.

EdE: The world seems to be falling into a two block cold war represented by ATLANTIS and PEACE. Independent or small countries like eHungary, eIndia, eChina or eArgentina are starting to suffer the consequences. What is the position of eKorea in this game of powers?

Father: Korea seeks diplomatic relations with both extranational blocs, and all nations. Skilled diplomacy is our greatest weapon, and we will use it to ensure Korean security and prosperity.

EdE: The vast majority of eRepublikans never leave their country. What would you tell foreign citizens to make them visit and / or stay in eKorea?

Father: It is our opinion that every national economy based on the free market system is fundamentally flawed given the parameters of eRepublik. However, these flaws are also exceptionally beneficial to nations that are not so-flawed. We offer our citizens stability and security, and the opportunity for exceptional individual prosperity in international business.
