Derpy On Canada

Day 2,274, 16:34 Published in USA USA by Derphoof

Dearest Brothers,

We once again find ourselves at war with our oldest enemy, Canada.

Canada had recently chosen to MPP Serbia, making it an enemy of the United States. However, it was not even the USA that pushed them in this direction by “not helping.” Their inept foreign policy and military decision-making led us to the decisions being made.

Canada often finds itself at war every month or so because “muh boredom.” Time after time, in elections, you’ll see people ask variations of “will we be going to war?” Along the same lines, candidates are attacked for NOT wanting to go to war. They are told that they won’t be voted for because not going to war is simply boring. The biggest example of this happened last month when Canada attacked the United Kingdom.

The people of Canada had been clamoring for war. Rogue proposals had been thrown at the UK several times. One was even thrown at Spain. Finally the Canadian Gov capitulated and NE’d the UK.

However, it was technically a rogue proposal.

This was not debated in Congress prior to its proposition. There was no planning beforehand. They did not consider how it could affect their foreign relations. They simply used it to placate the populace.

Let’s get some evidence from the inside (courtesy of DerpyLeaks).

In this first image, you’ll see the confusion in Congress from the outset of the NE. Since it was not discussed and was assumed to be a rogue NE, (since Chance Harrison was not in the Administration) “Lance Lucky” asked how they should vote. Rolo prods him and others to vote yes, while calling the CP “boring” likely because he had not thrust Canada into war up to that point.

In this image, you’ll see IBB simply tell them to “Vote Yes” on the matter. No info is given about why.

In this next image, Chochi asks why he should vote Yes, since he has been given no info as to why he should. Although he admits that, given how Canada had been clamoring for war, Congress probably needed no reason other than executive permission.

Yet, in the next screenshot, the answer he got was that no planning had been going on prior to the NE proposal. Instead he said he had been “gathering as much support as I can since the NE was proposed.” Not beforehand, but AFTER the fact. He simply saw it and ran with it.

While the USA had been trying to make relations better with Spoland and the UK, Canada has made no such attempt recently. They continued to antagonize Spoland and the UK. They declared war knowing that Spoland would retaliate, protecting their ally and leading to a wipe. They did it KNOWING that we could not help because of our NAP with the UK This is only several months after enduring an 8 month wipe at the hands of Spain for, like now, attacking the UK. In their desire for entertainment, they turned a neutral Spoland and UK against them by attacking the UK. Even Iain Keers stated in a recent article that Spoland and the UK were completely fine with Canada. The USA only became annoyed when Canada MPP’d Serbia, making them an automatic enemy. As Iain said, this war coupled with the MPP trashed their foreign policy in the region. They could have talked their way out of it and come to a peaceful settlement, but they instead MPP’d Serbia as soon as they could. He even stated that they could still turn around, but there has been no sign of such a course.

Yet, after trashing their foreign policy, many in Canada try to blame things on the USA. They call us backstabbers and traitors without once looking at their own actions.

They’ve engaged in reckless military and foreign policy behavior. They’ve MPP’d our worst enemies.

They have brought this war upon themselves.

Canada, our oldest enemy and once our closest friend, has become our enemy once more.

To Canada, I only have one more thing to say:
