@ USWP Fund: Hungary attacked a native Croatian region and withdrew within hours because they wanted to get an instant free war started with Poland for the purpose of liberating Germany (the ally you betrayed, remember?).
The purpose of Hungary's current attack is to free SERBIAN regions under Croatian occupation.

That's why you SAVE your fights - I recommend even on real battle days until as late as possible in the eRep day. This is even the first half of a war game day. What will you do if, say, the eUSA comes under coordinated invasions on the same evening as war games? Leave it completely to allies to save you? Stay trigger ready!

@ Mark Kim: Your points are very valid, however the point of wargames is that your able to fight over two days. Waiting close to 11:00pm erep time to fight in any battle is great advice though, and can be applied to the war games too.

@ Lorenzo Serafini: I don't completely understand you - don't almost all battles give you the ability to fight over two days? And if a significant number of people actually don't know so - everybody who can should save their fights until the last hour (or right before bedtime of course). If you're able, simply check every day around midnight for any wildfires.
Excitement can cloud your judgment... the soldier who overreacts to good news or bad is likely to get cut down or blown up in real battles! One point of our 18 MPPs - the main point really - is so the eUSA can defend allies. I'm wary ESPECIALLY if it's a Heaven-granted wargame after several days' famine. If it Sounds Too Good To Be True - it often is.
Oh, save your votes too until last possible moment. This holds until political takeovers may be fixed. T-shirt: "I helped save Spain!"
Why Croatia? Why not Germany? I'm still trying to figure out why we're defending certain allies and not others.

@ DK United: One possible rationale, if it isn't satisfactory, is that the war on Germany was instigated by allies of the eUSA as well. The official response was that in compliance with ATLANTIS rules (while we were bound to them at that time), was that members do not fight against other allies if two of them fight one another.
- as opposed to Hungary, a more 'clear' enemy attacking an ally. That's all I can say.

I'm a bit disappointed in you, people - in almost 6 hours of fighting you managed to amass only a 40 K advantage in a 10:1 fight. The top ex-ATLANTIS military powers are facing much less than half of PEACE's strength and are barely making progress - the balance of power in the eWorld has truly shifted.

We actually left ATLANTIS while the war against Germany was ongoing. While it's true we had MPP's with Sweden, Poland, and Germany at the time, we still had the opportunity to defend Germany without breaking any alliance rules (considering we did leave ATLANTIS as the war was ongoing).
I certainly understand the need to defend an ally against a member of PEACE as opposed to getting mixed up in a war amongst friends, but considering the fact we're now neutral (rather, we don't have a formal alliance with Croatia), I have to wonder why we've chosen to defend this particular country.

By the way, I'm not saying we shouldn't be defending Croatia, I'm just trying to find what makes one nation more important (in terms of who we defend) than another.
Another example...Why didn't we defend Sweden when Hungary attacked them last week?
If we have no formal alliances, then I don't see why the eUS government gets into an uproar about one former ally and not another.

If this message had gotten more prominence sooner I think we all would have fled over to fight for Croatia. A good point has been raised here. Why do we defend certain allies and not others? An interesting question.

Don't forget ... if you want War Games to work you should not fight in them till the end of the day on the first day. That way you are ready to respond to other threats.
