The results of the presidential poll are in, and they provide an interesting look into what is - at this point - a wide open race. In total, 74 people participated in the poll and answered the three questions. Here are the results and analysis.

With many vying for the spot this month - at this early stage - the crowded field yielded crowded results, with many receiving votes, and no candidate receiving a majority. However, two candidates did lead the pack: Incumbent President Patar333, and Minister of Finance Erdoni both tied at 18.91%. But with over 25% undecided, and the field by necessity set to narrow, the race is very much in the air. There is a clear opportunity for candidates to appeal to citizens in explaining their goals and platforms.

Another indication of the open field comes from President Patar333's approval rating. 45.94% expressed support, 20.27% opposed - but a full 34.78% were undecided. While the disapproval rating is within the average range, 34.78% is relatively high for undecided - signaling a large segment has not yet made their mind on the current administration.

Overall, the next few days will prove key. Soon, Party Presidents will select their official candidates - and it will be important for these candidates to state their case to the Austrian people, appealing to undecided voters who can swing the race in their favor.
