I have read threats from PEACE (well Indonesia) towards Malaysia due to our alliances with multiple EDEN countries. First off I would like to state that I have lived in PEACE countries the majority of my elife and still hold a patriotism of sorts towards them, however my priorities lie with the best intrests of the country that I now serve.Yes, I voted for alliances with countries as Croatia, Spain, and Finland, but then again I also voted for alliances with Iran, Japan, and Venezuela. The reason I and my Malaysian brothers did so is because we want the opposite of what you say. We want the promise of peace and strength in numbers that these alliances promise us, we don't want to be caught up in this epic struggle so having friends on both sides helps keep us neutral.
But let's say for some reason we do pick EDEN's side to totally shift to (yet again purely theoretical), what makes you think that they would allow you to come in, take all our territory, rape our virgins... I do recognize that choosing PEACE or EDEN would give us extra support from that alliance, but I also know that it would simply cause more unwanted conflicts and chances are would turn us into puppets.
