Dear Mr President,
I come before you today with a grievance and an announcement. Your recent appointment of SadehBadeh, known traitor to Israel, to the highly prestigious and important position of Minister of Foreign Affairs is unacceptable. Also to note is that in almost every case, Israeli's are AGAINST SadehBadeh returning to the country, but to be given senior cabinet status is naive.
SadehBadeh is a traitor to eIsrael. Zaib Atsu however doesn't feel this way. Our population has said loudly and clearly NO we do NOT want SadehBadeh so much as back in the community. This is an act of disgrace and possibly even betrayal by Zaib Atsu. He, as president, is supposed to represent US, the people of this nation. He however has decided that is not necessary.
His argument that Sadeh Badeh is a "good diplomat" holds no reason. He's a traitor and to make a traitor the international face of our nation is a disgraceful act. It is an attack on our national honor and integrity. Israel should be represented abroad by a qualified, responsible person with integrity and a good reputation for integrity. Katarina Jese was a good Minister of Foreign Affairs and I support her to be reappointed to that position.
So with this all in account, I have talked to my senior officers in the IDF. After getting their advice on the matter, and their support, I have decided that the IDF will no longer treat Zaib Atsu as commander in chief. He has made NO effort whatsoever to contact us, or work with us even when part of our nation was occupied by the Turks.
Some, no many, will call this a coup d' tat. Let me crush those fears now. I have no intention to make a grab for power. My only path to gaining more power is through election, not through force. I also ask that you all take note. I talked to Zaib just before he made his announcement and advised him that by appointing SadehBadeh, his decision would be wrong. That Sadeh Badeh was and still is a traitor to this country.

Israel will have trouble forming strong alliances as long as she is weak internally.

I didn't know we had a Minister of Education. I just created two weeks worth of training for new players, demonstrating how to fight, heal, work, etc. So far I have 27 people going through that training. So I guesss if you want to call the eIDF usless go right ahead. But keep in mind I have only been here for 1 week now and already have a training program set up WITH recruits going through it. And those recruits are English and Hebrew Speakers. It makes no difference, the goal is to make a strong eIsrael.

I'd temper the idea of this as a Coup D'etat, and perhaps view it more as a vocal vote of no confidence. Indeed, an understandable one. The MoFA appointment has obviously caused a major rift internally - which viewed in historical context, perhaps should have been predicted by our President before making this choice.
So what we have, when distilled from the understandably emotional framework, is a viable, directly stated protest to a choice that leaves much to be desired.
I will say that disparaging, misleading PTO comments and the constant, stale, and overused threat of "now I REALLY won't return the funds" serves no one.
We, collectively as eIsraeli's (emphasis on the "e"), must move beyond revisionist history (why treasury was stolen) as well revisiting history as well (we all know what was done, by whom, how, and what that states about their character), and make a bold step in a new direction.
This starts tomorrow with Knesset elections. And with hard work, coordination, and a little luck, this vast statement of change will be consummated on Presidential election day.

for what it matters you should have no authority to say the IDF does not treat the president as the commander in chief... because that is exactly what it is... he is over the IDF... being as you do not support this man the best thing to do with the intentions you have is to resign from your position and start yourself a milita... which is pretty much what you have done yet you are still calling it the IDF... i have no problems with your opinion or how you feel, however there is a way to go about things and i feel you are going about things in a wrong way... just my opinion

Haven't read all the comments yet, but lost major respect for SVV. I would not vote for him or support him in upcoming elections. I'd vote for pretty much anyone over him.
This military coup is a powerplay to put him in position for next months presidency.
It is not the place of the MoD to control the army. The president is the commander and Chief. The MoD advises, but the final call is made by the president.
I will hope we get a new official MoD very soon and we can get this whole mess sorted out. I'm fairly certain the vaat majority of IDF soldiers will support Israel and not this traitor (SVV)

I would like to point out that negotiations and political maneuvering are always more important, and in Israel's case, better in the long run, than military action. The weak and feeble IDF could not do anything to Turkey. So I can see exactly why Zaib would "ignore" the military... because it was pointless and useless given the situation.

Ben, I do not speak out of hate. I myself am a 4 time MoD, twice here in Israel, twice in the US during Beta. The MoD position is not the pulpit to make political speeches from. You are simply a servant to the President. The MoD position has no political weight to it. In effect, the MoD has no more power than being a simple cabinet member who ADVISES the President. What SVV has done is tantamount to "I am taking my ball and going to play over there". In reality, SVV pretty much quit the second he said he would no longer follow orders from Zaib.
