Day 61: Russia Strikes Back

Day 661, 20:17 Published in USA USA by Desertfalcon

Russia took advantage of their chances today and has launched three attacks to regain the offensive. Right now Indiana, Kentucky, and Iowa are under attack however the U.S. has a nice lead in each region. Colombia is also continuing their offensive by attacking Louisiana and Arkansas, they to are having trouble as both walls are well into no mans land. America may of lost the offensive but the past few days have shown that PEACE is much weaker now then they were a month ago and that PEACE has difficulty winning resistance battles. The U.S. can exploit this weakness by starting more resistance wars in PEACE held regions and just sending their military to Russia to fight.

Canada is still attempting to block Russia as they have launched yet another attack into Saskatchewan. Other then that it has been a pretty quiet day with most battles just being either blocking attempts or land slide victories. Spain has yet to start the resistance war to liberate their final region and there hasn't been much fighting on any of the other global fronts. It seems that the war is finally starting to die down as PEACE tries desperately to hold on to their last few American regions. If PEACE loses the offensive or if the U.S. succeeds with resistance wars then we can expect this war to end this week. It is also worth noting that Portugal is pulling out of Maryland which was their last American region. This was a part of a treaty signed earlier in the war.
