Head Over Heels

We The People’s PotUS primaries have come to a close, We The People have been subject to an large number of mass messages, from the candidates and even more from their proxies, imploring us to vote one way or the other. I considered sending a message of my own, but that’s not really my style and I’m sensitive to mass message fatigue myself. The number of messages sent reveals how unexpectedly contentious this election is, but can also be credited with the pleasantly high turnout in We The People’s primary.

The US is no longer a member of Sirius and the blame has been laid at the feet of President Molly Emma. Being privy to much of the goings-on in the alliance rooms and seeing the options presented to the US, I know I’m not alone it thinking that this or something similar was a long time coming. I’m more surprised that most of the alliance members did not choose to dissolve the alliance. In all of this, I am impressed with Molly’s ability to stand up for this nation’s interest and pursue other options than a poorly timed operation that would almost surely see us sharing a similar fate as Spain. While being removed from an alliance is not something to be proud of, there is no need to go groveling back to our former alliance begging for reentry. There is no shame in standing up for your nation’s interests and we continue to fight for our allies with our eyes toward the future.

While this past month hasn’t had the greatest media presence, much good work has been accomplished. Secretary of Interior Index Infinity has kept up with the popular Stock Market Game and has plans for more excitement next month. In addition to publishing the regular players guides, my good friend and Secretary of Education Cholan has also created an excellent and comprehensive new Department of Education website that can’t be recommended enough: http://eusa-doe.co.nr

Secretary of Defense dmjohnston and USAF Operations Commander rainy sunday have made excellent progress with the reorganization and streamlining of the United States Armed Forces. They have trimmed the USAF’s budget usage while attracting new, active, and experienced players and hope to continue their good work this coming month.

One of the messages I received alluded to this election being about the need for a change, but they are either not paying attention or we haven’t been tooting our own horn enough. Change is a constant, it is happening and Molly Emma is the one to lead us through it.
