Blame the US for losing a PTO? Sounds like someone needs to learn how the game is played.
What we need is a residency law from the game that will not allowing voting unless you have had residency for a certain period prior to elections or allow nations to implement it as they see fit with acts of congress/parliament/whatever. This would stop a lot of this moving for military outsourcing or PTOs.
Then again they can't even make a decent inactive map, just ban the ones that do work.

Indo and Hungary have more active players than us, and they're far less divided in regards to their international alliances. We cannot be expected to stop PEACE at every turn. Blaming us for their successful PTO certainly doesn't help convince our newer players that we should continue to support the former ATLANTIS nations.

I can understand the poster's disappointment, and anger. Our national security doesn't just stop at the border. If I'm not mistaken, they needed around 100 or so more voters near the end. Perhaps a more concerted vocal response from our government and political party leaders could have convinced enough of our citizenry to vote over in eCroatia. There were plenty of unnecessary votes cast in at least 3 states.
I hope now Americans see with what kind of ungrateful and selfish people Croatians are. They are blaming you because of their failure.

The entire eUS vote was only 1697. Someone was able to move a PTO group into your country that exceeded the entire voting population of the eUS. Figure that out.

To be honest his 'edit' may be a bit ungrateful, tho you shold understand that we, in Europe, are in a state of pernament conflict with PEACE and each defeat hurts. Because of time difference you could easily vote in the last hours of election (night/early morning here) when you were secure.
Well - of course it is unfair to blame whole America or only America, more likely it's the blame of everyone who did not do the right thing - in US, Poland aswell and other countries which were asked to help. @EvanTheAwesome - particularly since many of us were prevented from voting by the server going down for so long. A lot of people gave up and went to bed rather than stay up in the hope the server would come back up in time. I'm sure that didn't help.
To the OP - Many in the eUSA DID try to help you. A more gracious way of expressing your feelings might be to say thanks to those who did help, and then say shame on those who didn't, if that's what you were trying to accomplish. Personally, I'd leave it at thanks to those who tried and maybe a wish that it had been enough. You convey your disappointment without alienating those who were otherwise disposed to assist. All your editted rant accomplishes is ensure that those who might have been willing to help in the future will instead pass.

In short - there are many people in ePL who are grateful for your help. There are also many who does not understand some of your actons (i.e. last RWs in Belgium) or are thinking that cause you're a superpower with like over 280,000,000 of people irl, you are also here, and do not know what's your situation - like lack of hospitals, many regions and many inactive people in large population.
But you should know - we would help you, even though some could ask 'why' and even though there were some harsh words - like we were helping Croats or Romanians, cause you're an ally - but you're not being attacked or being a target of pTO (tho I think PEACE wouldn't come with peace to you, after finishing us) so there's little we can do.
Many are saying that we're opressing others - yea, this game mechanics unfortunately evolves around fighting - if we have the possibility of gaining high resources (which we don;t have) we're trying to conquer - that's how the game was made - at least we're honest, not hiding our intentions, and not pretending that our actions are being done to bring peace to the world, to free someone, and not to gain power and controll.
As for some Poles trolling here - don't listen to hypocrites - too many of our politics for sure did more to themselves than to Croatia - that's our fault, since we also could do more. Personally I'm happy that I could vote in Croatia, cause I wouldn't for sure in Poland. And if it means something to you I am grateful for your constant help.
I did not get the message Croatia needed help until after I had voted. Do not bulk everyone in the same basket. It does not look good for you. (I am certain there are many others in this same position.)

I had already voted before this article was edited. I was trying to help raise awareness for those who hadn't voted yet. But I would retract my vote if I could.
To say we didn't try to help is untrue or at the very minimum, not characteristic of ALL Americans.
Croats are unhappy because there congress was just PTOed, allow them to be emotional after this. My impression is also that this month U.S was mostly interested about their internal elections.
The greater problem is that we, as an "alliance", seem unable to protect our countries from PTOs. Hungarians mastered the tactics of PTO and they are the ones that actually made them part of the game. We seem to be defending all the time, either winning (Spain) or losing (Croatia) and except that ambitious Romanian attempt in Indonesia we don't strike back.
Even in defending from PTOs, we don't seem to have noticed that until citizenship is introduced, Hungarians changed this game. It's not what we were playing a couple of months ago, the political aspect is now greatly minimized. And while we are still concentrating in which party in our country is cooler than the rest, the enemy is attempting to destroy our countries one by one.

Eadrin is 100% right. The problem is not in the fail of anti-PTO action itself but in the constant attitude of majority, of citizens of USA. If USA had lost, had been conquerred just once, maybe they would be thinking another way.

@Borzmire- US citizens were helping Croatia, we never whined, we started to whine when you began saying we weren't helping enough. We helped plenty, not all of us moved, but a large majority of us at least fought for you. It is simply unfair for you to judge wether or not we helped, or to say were bad allies. We helped Spain, we were a key nation in liberating regions of Greece, and Israel. If anyone is whining its you guys...
WHY thanks went to Poland, Romania, but not to USA?
There were plenty of comments in Poland, calling to move and help Croatia. People were offering tickets. Polish newspapers published articles where and for who one should vote in Croatia.

Hey, Americans, I have a question: Isn't this game boring for You, guys? If my econutry (ePoland) would just stay in its borders, and most of the people there would just train and work, I would quit this game. You, Americans (not all, of course) are simple isolating from the world. Playing this game as a citizen of USA must be really boring...
Well, the general problem with Americans is that a great deal of them consider Europe as one country with its capital in Paris. It's sad but you can't deny that. Some Americans still think that Poland was a part of the Soviet Union and that the gas chambers were built by the Poles. So it sounds pretty obvious to me that they don't give a heck about "some Yugoslavian stuff" and " elections in Serbia or Croatia or whatever". Believe me, I've heard a lot of crap of that kind in USA.
Take fault for your own dam country..Your country lost elections cause it LET itself..You say we didnt help but I personally moved myelf there and wasted my own vote just so that I could help and you say thanks for nothing , well if thats the case then you DESERVE nothing. we can only help so much and yet the second someone else falls down and scrapes their knee they wanna blame eUSA like it failed as being a safety net for the entire eWorld. eUSA cant solve all YOUR problems im afraid.

First, thanks to all Americans who went to vote in eCroatia.
Second, most of you thinks you owe to us nothing. I can tell you why. YOU ISOLATED FROM OTHERS. You were never in real trouble, like Romania, Poland, Sweden, Greece and Spain did. We helped them when they needed help because THEY ARE OUR ALLIES. Our army went everywhere where help was needed. What did you do? NOTHING. I really want to see a day when you will be in real trouble, and when that happens, you will beg your allies for help.

Do you remember guys when eTurkey lost that high greek region? We (eHungary) went there to help them fight but the american army proved to be better in that battle. Though we lost, turkish people didn't cry like that, instead they thanked us for helping them. I think that's how a real ally should act.
And of course i know losing a conquered high region is not as shocking as being TO-d, but the point here is the attitude...

The problem is that American military units helped their allies, BUT the American SOCIETY, THE AMERICA itself is dissapointing. That's why USA hear bitter words.

if our president said that then he is out of touch, a Croatian wrote an article thanking the US citizens, you will read very different comments, ones of hail Croatia, hail the USA. The American public isnt happy about Croatian lose, I have by the way read more positive Croatian comments then negative about the USA.
