The Canada Prize V2 writing competition is nearing the end of its first round of entries. There has been a very broad range of submissions dealing with straight-shooting war reporting to post-apoccupied eCan fiction (yes, such a thing apparently exists). The favourite topic has been economic critiques, which have been quite surprisingly riveting reads.

The deadline for Round 1 is April 20th. If you want to prove your salt as an eRep writer or just want a shot at a piece of the 20 Gold, 500 CAD (tbd), Q4 House prize pot, please get your submissions ASAP. Be sure to send a PM to the Writers’ Guild of Canada org with a link to your [CP] labelled entry. Your article will be graded and commented on by 2 CP Judges and those succeeding to Round 2 should be announced on April 21st.

To check out the competition and get a sampling of CP evaluation criteria, consult the list below. All entries will be graded in the next two days and, until then, you can hurry in your last-minute entry. You can already view judges’ remarks in the comments of some articles with a % mark.
