Consider The Costs
Lowell Kennedy
It seems that while fairly obvious, some simple facts about wages are being overlooked.
When looking for a new job in the human resources department, most workers look for the highest wage they qualify for and quickly apply without a second thought. However, the quality level of the company needs to be considered before rushing into work. Look at these options as an example:
Highest Wage Company is willing to pay you $10. With the effort of one click, I learn that this employer is a Q3 company. To maintain my wellness, I would have to purchase at least Q5 food (if I am also training everyday). Current cost of Q5 foo
😛$13.89. So I am actually losing $3.89 a day by working for Highest Wage.
Competitive Wage Company is offering to pay you $9. Again, with one click, I discover that this is a Q2 company. Q4 food is $8.77. So I earn $0.33 per day to work for Competitive Wage.
Looks Low Wage Company is paying a meager $8 salary. After my one click effort, I find that they are a Q1 company. Q3 food is 6.98. So I earn $1.02 everyday. The best possible option of the three.
While this comparison is by far too simple, the concept is the same. When looking for a new job, don't just consider the wage, consider the cost of food you will need to replace your wellness.

I am enlightened! 😛
Or you take the Q3 company and buy Q1 Food.
Yeah but then you lose wellness everyday until one day you get on and your dead
Totally true.
or buy q1 food and gifts
Whoa. I never thought of that.
Thank you this was really helpful 🙂
If I were a more active employer, I would be dropping payment for employees that don't keep their wellness up... But there aren't enough good employees to go around anyway, so I can barely afford to risk losing them.
Quality of the company should be shown ON the human resource market, not be hiding one click away. It is too important a factor in selecting a job. Many newer citizens don't understand the significance, as this article explains.
Problem is, the wellness formula avoids people dropping down to 0.

You don't necessarily need a Q3 food working at a Q2 company just to stay afloat. If you can afford Q3 food, all the better, but it's not like you'll die by eating Q1 food.
So true, it is not fair
Selling Q2 food at 1.2 USD each. contact me by In game message. Max of 6 product per customers.
That hadn't even really occured to me. I was just considering resigning from my current job in search of better pay.
Thanks for the info.
One of the most helpful articles I've found thus far. Thank you!
