Consider The Costs

It seems that while fairly obvious, some simple facts about wages are being overlooked.
When looking for a new job in the human resources department, most workers look for the highest wage they qualify for and quickly apply without a second thought. However, the quality level of the company needs to be considered before rushing into work. Look at these options as an example:

Highest Wage Company is willing to pay you $10. With the effort of one click, I learn that this employer is a Q3 company. To maintain my wellness, I would have to purchase at least Q5 food (if I am also training everyday). Current cost of Q5 foo😛 $13.89. So I am actually losing $3.89 a day by working for Highest Wage.

Competitive Wage Company is offering to pay you $9. Again, with one click, I discover that this is a Q2 company. Q4 food is $8.77. So I earn $0.33 per day to work for Competitive Wage.

Looks Low Wage Company is paying a meager $8 salary. After my one click effort, I find that they are a Q1 company. Q3 food is 6.98. So I earn $1.02 everyday. The best possible option of the three.

While this comparison is by far too simple, the concept is the same. When looking for a new job, don't just consider the wage, consider the cost of food you will need to replace your wellness.
