Congress Thingymabober Coming Back!

Day 543, 09:16 Published in Japan Denmark by Oraizan

Well it is about time I start putting myself back up for congress. I do intend to run in Kanto again this term, and I hope that during my first term I have not lost any votes! Many people say that a long article drives people away. I hope that my article will not, because I don't plan to be short!

What I have done
I first started out wanting to bring the citizens to government more. It was first with surveys that I could use in Congress Discussion if needed. In the end with Kokawa coming into power, he has brought more then we could ever imagine. Any citizen can now post in the congress debates in the new forum, but they cannot vote. This works out very well for what I was trying to achieve. I am also glad to see a few citizens stepping up and making proposals. As I said in Minamoto's forum about government structure, I am very very proud to see this. While I still plan to continue my surveys, I hope that I can do more.

As I have said, I am inexperienced. I have actually learned a lot this past term about the different parts of eRepublik and how government works. I am very glad that people voted for me and gave me the chance to, I hope I have not let you down.

My last platform was also about activity. I promised to actively participate in eRepublik, and congress discussions as well as I possibly could. I have done my best to continuously do so, and I hope that it has been to your liking!

With my holiday themes I have been promoted to a Secretary position. I have tried to use it to bring out more and more people into the community. Was it a success? I believe it was. Many articles were long and well-written, and often there was 20+ comments. I would like to let you be the judge of how well it went though. I will continue to bring about holidays even if not elected into Congress, but this is something that shows my determination for eJapan.

What else is there to say?

If you would like to know more about my past and what I stand for you can look at my Wikipedia page here. It has all information on me, and a link to ALL of my articles with descriptions. I plan to update it more as time goes by.

So, what now?

First of all I want to continue what I have been doing. I am currently looking into a better survey system so that I can publicly ask the questions with anonymous results! This way everybody can speak their opinion freely, without the fear of posting.

I am hoping that I still represent your voices, and that I have shown eJapan, and Kanto, that I can be a very good asset to Congress. I want to continue as I have been, and use the knowledge I am gaining continuously to help eJapan.

As the week goes by I will post about what I stand for in the society, so you can vote for me also based on my opinions on bigger topics.

I also plan to keep up my Japanese lessons as long as I possibly can. I have a few books and notes that I have made myself on the language when I was in Japan, so I hope that you will be interested in hearing them! I will release another one tomorrow with some questions so you can test yourself!

Ambassador
As many of you I hope know, I am the Ambassador to Sweden. I am actively reading their newspapers, and subscribing to the few I find useful. Currently in the new forum there is no spot for Sweden's information (I have not set up a topic), but I plan to get on that this long weekend.

Thank you eJapan, and remember my name in the next elections!
Love for eJapan!
