Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,
This civil war between ElGorro and van Spijck has been going on for far too long. It is essentially a personal conflict, even though their hangers-on and disciples have repeatedly clashed, too. I think there is only one solution to this problem, but first, ElGorro and van Spijck need to answer two simple questions:
1. Is it in the interest of the country that two parties are constantly at each other's throats?
2. Are you the only one capable of saving the eNetherlands?
If your answer to any or both of these questions is 'Yes', then you are truly lost. However, if you answer 'No' to both questions, you will see the solution:
PLEASE, ON BEHALF OF THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE eNETHERLANDS, STOP PLAYING eREPUBLIK AND DON'T DESTROY WHATEVER IS STILL LEFT TO US.

While I like your untraditional approach. Hypothetically the mistrust between the warring parties is exactly what will prevent this solution from working. Either party will only leave if the other does as well.

This would have been solved already if your own DemNL party president ElGorro had kept his word about his promise to quit the game after winning the presidential elections one more time... but he lied to win the elections.

And to all, there's no hate in me for ElGorro, tbh I just couldn't care less about him. I do understand that the butthurt is strong in him this time, with the support of 3 mayor parties he'd thought his mate would win, even without any proper plan. Well, the result of the elections are clear; 68.75% voted me into the Catshuis, it's crystal clear this couldn't have happened without the support of many ppl from other parties, so draw your own conclusions.

Feel free to read my latest article, which debunk this argument of 'popular' support. Stop trying to use the election results as cover to continue the current miserable situation. Or do you regard this as comformation that you need to continue the status quo?

I do not think there can be peace. There is already too much demonizing and I am not convinced that GPN really wants peace with their actions. From the IRC channels to all of their past deeds. Even here, you have GPN minions attacking ElGorro.
I also think that our side hates GPNers too. There is no trust in the GPN and in all honesty, I think GPN behaves and act like thugs. Both sides have strong feelings and I do not see any real ways especially with vS as CP. In the end, this article is only good for one person, the author...
I disagree, this "Us vs Them" argument has gone on so long it lost all meaning. Nobody hates other players in this game(ElGorro and vSpijck have shown to be perfectly capable of having a constructive discussion) Our newer citizens just have to learn that disagreeing is a natural part of a democracy and no reason to squabble, apparently that takes time.
Splitting our community into multiple IRC channels does not help however.

Crazy after stepping back for a month.. this is still the main topic of concern in our small country.. As a small group fighting for freedom & a place on the map.. Our strength should lie in Unity ..
& at the end of the day we need every soldier we can get, on the battlefield!!

I'm a bit suprised with all the political turmoil in eNL. Isn't this the time when civilians should cooperate to create a better situation for eNL? As long as you fight each other the Polish will be happy, because you won't be fighting them. I know both leaders to be good people with good intentions so i really hope they can work something out. With or without territory, eNL needs stability. A republic cannot grow without it. So Spijck and Gorro, go talk. Be friends?

Personally I think we would all get along better if we could fight for the Netherlands more often. I am so tired of fighting for every other country except the Netherlands.
That's by far the biggest challenge.
