The Company Guide has been updated (v0.97b) to include the new House production and House Raw Material companies. This is a spreadsheet tool you can download, to assist you to select profitable companies and to manage them optimally.

Edit: version 0.97b fixes a typo on the first page (on version 0.96b)
IMPORTANT EDIT: if using 0.96 or 0.97, the update to version 0.98b fixes a problem with the usage of HRM.

Good analysis; pretty much what I "saw", ...only Q7 gun companies can make money, no grain or rubber (except via work of own 'lands'....which is 'disallowed on the "new" (houses worked in V1) 'house material company ("stone" in the good old V1 days)) cannot turn any profit either. As to the houses themselves, despite their much shorter lifespans than in V1, there will, in my opinion, still be some profit anyway because there cannot be too many house companies as yet.

My apologies to anyone who downloaded version 0.96 and 0.97 - they will not correctly calculate the amount of HRM required to make houses. This is fixed today in version 0.98
