Citizens of the South East

Day 1,037, 12:54 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by CBall

Dear Citizens of the South East,

I am CBall and I will be running for congress this term in the area.

Introduction

A little bit of a background in regards to me and my time in eRep. I joined the game way back during the beta stage in day 47 so I've been round the block a few times and picked up a few things along the way. I have fought in wars, led a political party and ran a successful business. Alongside this I have held numerous government positions across many different departments and areas. This includes the Ministry of Work, the Army Reserve CO, Party President of TUP and a congressman on a number of occasions.

Why vote for me?

Between now and election time you will no doubt see a number of manifestos cropping up from candidates with a number of promises and many will start to look and sound the same. I urge you to not just glance over but make sure to actually read what each candidate is offering.

1. Being a new player to this game can be daunting, especially as the game is much bigger than you first think. I will strive to help any new citizens to the area and utilise an open door policy to any questions any citizen may have, experienced or new.

2. Being active is key for a congressman in eRep to help the citizens and make informed and proper decisions on anything which goes to vote in the House of Commons, no matter what the subject.

3. Supporting the military for the good of the eUK citizens. This can be from voting on bills in parliament to recruiting new citizens.

4. Active players make the game go round. Player activity is crucial for the eUK to succeed. If elected I will encourage activity on the national forums and on the IRC. The more citizens contributing to the country is what will help keep us pushing forward as a nation.

In closing...

If elected I will use my wealth of experience to make informed decisions to help the eUK and it's citizens. A stance I have always taken is to discourage so called 'sheep voting'. I urge you to vote for the person not the party. An active and informed congressman can benefit you as a citizen so don't waste your vote!

If you have any questions in regards to anything then don't hesitate to get in touch!

Thanks,
CBall
