If the above battles are at -200k, fight in Minnesota until at -200k.
If Minnesota is at -200k, fight in Indiana
Do not fight in New Mexico, it is a distraction battle.

I'm too new to the game to understand this meaning.
Am I to understand we're to hold a 'fire' button for 6 hours on each of our computers!?

He means to wait until the attack is 6 hours old before you click the Fight button in that battle. If you attack before 6 hours are up, and the enemy withdraws at the last moment (just before the 6 hour mark), your attacks will have been kinda wasted. "Hold your fire" until we know they are in it for the full battle.

First of all; welcome to eRupblik & thank you for your support. Now. On to game play, holding fire for 6hrs is a way to maximize our effectiveness. It we battle hard and long for the first 6hrs the enemy can withdraw in the lst few seconds of the 6hr mark there by nuulifying our efforts as they want us to expend as much of our time, money, and weapons. Peace countries are known for using this tactic to deplete our supplies of war, weakening us so that later in the battle they go bizirk on us, tank us, & dump a large amount of money & time into the battle to defeat us. If we do that in the beginning we put ourselves in a much more vulnerable position to lose the war. We have good leaders that are very good with the tactics of war, & relating it to us to maximize our effiecency. The most important thing is that you are learning which makes us stronger as a country. Trust your commander & chief, & do not be afraid to input your ideas & suggestions. Keep asking question to maximize your ability.
