Candidate Comparison - Edit

Day 1,219, 16:02 Published in Egypt Egypt by ReconWarHawk

As you now we are now one day out from the next congressional elections. I have interviewed each candidate from each party that existed a couple days ago. I vowed to create this today and most candidates sent in their forms, however it is possible that I missed you or you the deadline. In this case just send ReconWarHawk a message and we will edit the article to include you.

I asked each of the candidates the following questions:

1. What are your previous qualifications?
2. What is your view on the recent wars and how much land do you think eEgypt is entitled to?
3. Immigration has become a concern as of late, what is your view and/or plan to deal with the immigration?
4. What is your general economic view?
4a. View on income tax
4b. View on VAT
4c. View on import tax
5. What do you believe the focus of eEgypt's policies should be on?
6. Do you believe eEgypt should join a major alliance, create their own regional alliance system, or remain neutral.
7. Which country do you believe is eEgypts main rival?

The following sections are the response of the candidates, they are organized by region so simply use your browsers search function and search your region to find your candidates. Some of the answers are rather lengthy and others are short, these are by their preference and the answers have not been edited.

Arab Liberal Party Candidates
Jacobo Gronaven
1. I had been the Party President of a non top 5 party in eNew zealand with declining membership, and I got it into the top 5 and got it congressional representation, I was a congress member for that party.

2.Personally I think that our recent wars were rather fun but none the less ill advised, Heboo was first rather clueless on Isreal's invasion of eSuadi arabia and then jumped in to help this in this fake war. I belive that war is a great way to bring babybooms, but not without hte proper consent of the people. at the beging of the war our government did not really explain the purpose of this war, it simply leaked out.I believe eEgypt is entiled to it's home reigons that eGreece currently has control of to reach a reigon in eSaudi Arabia. Due to the fact greece would need to keep these regions to get the bonus from their region in Saudi arabia, I fell taht negition for them to keep them is possible, but would require a signifigant sum of gold and no less.I also think a unino with eSaudi arabia would be good for both countries, but I will get into that later.

3. I sure do support foreign immigration, it is after all how I got here, but every citizen we welcome must have their background checked before hand by a capable egyptiain secrect service agency, and those with serbian or an serbian puppet state's citizenenship should have an extremly trhough background check, not nesscarly because I am anti NWO, but because serbian's all nataionlties in the world of erepublik are notrious for their PTOing and must annoyingly their smugness in pretending not to be PTO'ers.

4a. I have always considered the income tax the fair tax, a tax the
effects all citizen's equall according to their pay.
4b. I believe that the vat tax is a bad tax that should be 0% all
across the bored, I will explain to you why. The reson why income
tax is the fair tax is becausese if it's 10 percent, when PERSON A
comes in with a job paying 7.00 a day, they are going to have 70
cents deducted and end up with 6.3 When PERSON B is paid 20.00 a
day, they will have 2.00 decuted, so they have 18.00, so it hit's
both of them fairly. But lets say food costs 0.60 with a 10 percent
VAT tax. the price will now be 0.66 for both Person A and B. But
since Person A has a smaller income, it will hit them harder.
With this I say that should I be elected as a Congress memeber, one of my first priorities will be to work to lower VAT taxes to 0% on all products.
4c. The purpose of the Import tax is to both control and profit of off
foreign trade. Therefore I would work to apply heavy import tax's
to any product we have a oversupply of to allow for our companies
to compete, however import taxe's would be low in areas of which we
have short falls.

5. The long term goal of eEgypt poclies should be no doubt but working to get Egypt to a powerful nation, a superpower, prehaps. bUt the short term goal is certainly trying to forge alliances with Anti-NWO countries. With A country like eUAE nearby we must make sure we have our own set up mpp's incase they try to pull something. For a medium term goal as I add hinted at early, I think we should be looking at forming in union with eSaudi Arabia under the egyptian flag. They currently have a population of 27 people, they would be much safer working with us plus we would have acces to other resources. Similarly to how eNetherlands used to control ebelgium for quite some time as the united neatherlands, I think this is what we should do with eSaudi arabia. Not to mention the countless bug in the implementation of eSaudi arabia and them limiting them to one party.

6. I belive that though staying neutral would be nice, when you have a nation like eUAE so near by with powerful MPPs, it is safer for us to also get our own backing of MPP's that could counter theirs. Not nessarcliy joing EDEN or TERRA ( as that's what I think they call PANAM now)but certainly keeping an MPP set of nations like eGreece, eBrazil, eCroatia and eUSA. I als think that our postion and proximity to Iran would make us a good ally for Anti NWO countries.

7. As I had said before, I belvie that the eUAE is our greatest poentital rival PTO'ed countries like eUAE are always backed up by powerful nations, and with how the middle east semes to be alinging, it looks like eSaudi Arabia might become a battle ground between eEgypt, Isreal VS. eUAE and eIran.

1. I was for the first time Congressman of eEgypt from 24th February to 23th March.
2. I wasn’t for the war against eSaudi Arabia, even if I called my colleagues to vote for NE with eSaudi. My aim was to defend the holy lands in eSaudi Arabia firstly, and protect some eSaudi Regions from external invasions secondly. But unfortunately the course of History hasn’t played for eSaudians Favour…

3. Immigration is today very limited in the eCountries of the eWorld, a congressman can accept only one citizenship request during his mandate. Before accepting a person, we should know more about his eHistory, his abilities and his ambitions in eEgypt.
4. I’m still being very bad in economy and I don’t have the ability to respond to such interrogations 😁
5. We should keep our friendship with eCroatia, and reinforce at the same time our relations with the rest of the eArab World by standardizing our relations with eSaudi Arabia. That will allow us to create, in the future, a small Union between eUAE, eEgypt and eSaudi Arabia.
6. I believe that eEgypt has to create her own regional Alliance with the eArab World (Like Brolliance or Entente in the past) and join in another hand Eden.

7. For now, eEgypt hasn’t a main rival in the region, even if some persons still considering eIsrael as being one. I think that the “Bad Side of Real Life” has nothing to do in game. Wars IRL have to be forgotten, because eRep is just a game. However, as many Arabs think that Unity between Arab states is indispensable, I think that we can realize that dream in game. I’m for Making Love and Not Creating War.

1)I have served as Minister of Education 2 times as a member in heboo's goverment team and have been elected as congressman once in Upper Egypt

2)Recent war's have really given a lot to eEgypt and to its citizens, from more strenght to more lands and resources that we need, and i believe we are entitled to these regions that we currently hold.

3)Immigrants are a good thing for eEgypt,as long as they are not in a PTO team or mean the harm of eEgypt. We can benefit a lot if people come, but it also poses a big threat to us,since we are a new and weak country. That means that we will have to keep a balance at the numbers of immigrants coming.

4)a)I believe it should be a little bit higher for a while,in order to restore the Gold that we spent on the war with Saudi Arabia more quickly and have the resources for a counter attack if it is needed.
b)It should be kept at its current level,as it is quite good in my opinion
c)In my opinion it should be lowered,in order to attract even more foreign investors into our market. If
you think about it,we will gain more money than now, because of the increased number of
companies.

5)Maintaining good relations with our neighbouring countries and renting some regions that will have for example Fish(like Crete,Greece).

6)I believe that the best alliance that Egypt can choose is EDEN,as it is a stable and long-lasting alliance, known for the strong bonds between its members.

7)Saudi Arabia. They are very angry now that they are close to being deleted, and sooner or later we are going to have a war with them(again).

1-I have no qualifications before,I just started this game but i love it.I am thinking to move forward.

2-We need war with enemy's that we can handle or an allies which can grant us security as being a new country.

3-Controlled immigration system like the one that u.s had.We can deeply search about the applier and have a conversation about his reasons.

4-Import taxes should be high because we are new establishing country and in-game taxes that effects e-egypt citizens should be low.I can't accept a,b and c questions sorry.

5-Joining a strong alliance which grants secured political wiew and having good relationships with country's nearby.

6-Of course,it should join major alliance but not now we don't want to have big enemy's right now.

7-Iran and arabia for now

1. Ministry of Information in Czech Republic, President of several Left-wing parties across UK, Brazil, Slovenia and Argentina.

2. Saudi Arabia is the only right owner of their own lands, however, in times of war where we see Jews and Christians near the Muslims Holy Cities, we need to protect the country until they recover from the terrible government of Lawrence, who attacked UAE.

3. Immigration is so good as we have more companies/workers/voters/soldiers, and so bad as we have a increased risk of TO. I am Brazilian, see! If a player comes to Egypt to help to build this young nation, i think that he deserves a Egyptian citizenship.

4. I am Muslim, and Communist (rare no?), so, i like a State controlled economy. BUT, Egypt need to rise more economically to it, and not is my goal...for now.

4a. I will like grow it on MT, but the rest is good.
4b. ZERO.
4c. Always good, not need for reform.

5. First, we need a babyboom to direct our focus. Without babys, we don't need to earn more resources...

6. Join EDEN, is a very receptive alliance to minor countries like Ireland and BiH.

7. United Arab Emirates. Is a NWO toy, we need to stop them...

1. I actually have none. It will be my first term as a congress man. But I own one of eEgypt's most successful newspapers
.
2. I think the war was necessary because, as well as the Islamic view of the conquered regions, we needed to show the eWorld how we stand in the international zone, and how we are able to protect and conquer. I believe that we need to retrieve the regions that were taken from us by Greece, and also have more control over the conquered Saudi Arabia.
3. I have two ideas: A. Monitoring the Citizenship giving, by a committee that will be set by the government. B. Check the history of every immigrant. We need to see if there's a history of PTO in his eLife, and if he is a benefit for eEgypt.

4. I believe that the current economy state is really good. There are many jobs that allow moderated amounts of money, also, the products are sold in a very low price, which can help new citizens, and also make the company more profitable.

4a. The income tax is actually pretty low. We can see that the bar of the tax doen't go over 10%, which
is good and suggesting a stable economy. I believe we need to carry one with this system and way
of engagement towards the economy.
4b. Same thing about VAT. The VAT is very reasonble, and does not descriminate not the new citizens
and not the old citizen.
4c. Very logical. Food and Weapons are our main export, because of that, the government does it
right to take 50% from the export, so the the state and the company will get the same profit.

5. Should build more political relations. Egypt needs to ally close nations, but also strong nation. Egypt should also serve assitance in time of need to allied countries.

6. I believe that the Middle East should form it's own alliance, that will be represented from every Middle Eastern State. These states will include Egypt, Israel, UAE, Iran, Turkey, Cyprus and Greece (although it's not in the Middle East).

7. UAE. I've been told that UAE threatened Egypt with an attack on Egypt. I believe that we need to ally with Israel, or just depress UAE.

Djeza..SRB
1.nothing formal becuase i was living in eRussia and eBiH most of my eLife both well established nations and to be a long term politician you have both your foot in the door and be reasonably sociable however when they were having trials for beta i was a congressman in eBiH

2.'war huuuuuuuuh what is it good for' as i've put in my congress presentation im anti war, and i belive we should find a peaceful soloution with eKSA to loaning al-qasim

3.i would put in place a board of congressmen more than likely headed by the president or someone who is familiar with previous pto offenders which decides who gets citizenship therby

4.a)keep it to a minimum, we are a developing country and workers are our lifeblood
b)fine how it is
c)higher for weapons, lower for food (until we've come to an agreement with eKSA

5.neutrality, but maintaining allainces with other neutral nations (a non-allighnment movement in short)

6. regional alliances

7.we have no enemies, we had good relations with eKSA before things went crazy

Alecsandru010
1.Multiple time congress member in Romania.

2.I see Egypt like a regional superpower supported by Israel.

3.Don`t give citizenship passes to "suspected" people, try to verify them as much as you can.

4.Low import taxes,we are a new economy and a weak one,so i support low import taxes for everything except natural resources that we have. The main source from money should be VAT,a VAT of 10-15% would generate a great income.

5.Clearly-a baby boom, anything else should drop on second plan,Egypt needs players!

6.EDEN-join them

7.Saudi Arabia-in fact all countries that want an iron region

1. I was a 6 term congressman in thailand and a 4 term congress man in north korea. While in thailand I was also 3 term rep to Sol 2 term Minister of Foreign Affairs and 1 time minister of immigration.

2. I did not support the war and stated that during the meetings. I feel its opening Saudi Arabia up to PTO by groups potentially hostile towards us and/or our Allies. As far as what territories do we deserve which ever ones we can hold onto but they added congress seats making it easier for us to be PTO'd also before we have a significant population of our own.

3. A more thorough screening process should be set up for people looking to attain citizenship and a list updated every 2 or 3 days on who has been approved for citizenship so congressman know who to grant citizenship to with easy access. The screening process helped us prevent PTO's in Thailand for several months.

4. My general economic view is to start more government subsidies. The more money the people have the more they spend and business gain the more the nation gets back in taxes and the higher standard of living for the people.

5. Egypts main focus in polices should be 2 things ...increase our foreign relations outside of greece israel and croatia we have been somewhat an isolationist. 2 actively recruit potential citizens from other countries if we build the relationship before theyre here and applying well have a better idea on what they bring and why helping us prevent PTO's.

6. I believe egypt at this point should focus on building allies as opposed to regional or major alliances. In an alliance we can be forced to support actions or countries we dont necessarily agree with...as if we build just individual allies well most likely see eye to eye.

7. At this point I do not believe egypt has a main rival yet. With the course of action that was taken
through war though it very well could become Saudi Arabia.

Ace Wing
1. . None, 'cause i started this game a just a little while ago.

2. Wars will always be there. It's part of the world we are in. But in the recent war i believe that Egypt should have a better strategy. No offence to the sitting congress, but i had the feeling that many actions were impulsief. This should be done better if we want to keep existing.

3. Were should boost or economy and take care of our army. We should attract people who want to help our young nation. And it doesn't really matter from what RL Country you are from. If your heart is with eEgypt you are welcome. ofc i will keep a good eye on possible TO's.

4. A. there should be a good rate of tax income. taxes shouldn't change very rapidly. 10% should be the
very max.
B. No answer.
C. they Gov. shouldn't take to much of the profit. We have to be sure to keep the Egyptian companies
alive.

5. we first need a bayboom and then reorganize our army finanially and economically

6. we should join a major alliance were we can have a good input for a regional alliance will not always be as trustworthy

7. Politics in the middle east will change very fast because of the number of country's who want a piece of it. But we should keep a good eye on the UAE for it is not ruled by RL Arabs.

1.Two times congressman in eEgypt

2. In games wars are fun, as long as it is understood that only a game 🙂
middle-east and africa was very quite, now that we had some wars, it has been very active and brought life to game. eEgypt has enough land, but we need some additional resources for the bonuses so we need to hold on to some additional regions than we have now.

3. Not very big problem to be honest, as its not too many citizenship approvals so not too much problem yet, but it is something always to watch out. so I prefer if congressman are quite sure before approving any new citizen applications.

4. strong currency, but not too strong so that it puts of people from investing.
many local companies, not too much import but instead a lot of export.

4a. important to generate income for the government and fare tax as it is percentage based on
earnings.
4b. should be lower or close to zero on essential things like food and grain and applied more on other
products like weapons and tickets etc.
4c.very much needed to keep control of what is imported in to our country and make money from
those companies that are making money from our country.

5. stay safe, stay strong, grow, make some more strong friends.

6. not yet a major alliance, many things happening around now, best to wait a little bit more before making a major decision.so for now stay as we are for another election time at least. but we need to make more friends.
7. Right now it seems more of other Arab countries but Im sure this will change in coming months.

Porosus
1. 6 Time congressmen, ex-Ambassador to Indonesia (from Estonia)

2. Egypt is entitled to conquering regions like every other nation. But this must be done with considerations for the long term. Taking a part of Hungary or Serbia might be bad in the long run ; )

3. Immigration is what is keeping Egypt's population on the rise. But we can't just let everyone in unfortunately, as some wish to ruin this great country. We must not base this on previous citizenship though.
4 a. Income tax should be kept modest, but provide money for the government sufficiently to keep us
protected.
4b. VAT can vary depending on the taxable item.
4c. Keep high enough to encourage Egyptian companies, but low enough to be profitable for foreign
companies.

5. Building up relations with countries, and helping allies in their times of need. We are pretty stable all things considered. And the economic situation we have is affecting all countries.

6. Alliances are for major nations seeking a title. Egypt isn't a major country, and we don't need a title. We have friends. Alliances fall, but friends remain. So basically remain neutral, but help our friends.

7. Rivalry can be taken many ways. And as such, a friendly rivalry with Israel and UAE seems fitting for our situation. Otherwise we don't really have a Croatia-Serbia kind of relationship with anyone. At least that I am aware of.

1. Unfortunately i dont have any, since its hard to get in congress in Croatia but I had some duties in my military unit Lock´n´Load!

2.We were fortunate a lot in the last few days, and i am glad my paramilitary unit had a chance to fight for egypt! Egypt should hold to those regions which are important to its citizens, like al qasim for grain.

3.I think thats a problem CP and his cabinet should deal i am here to follow them and their plans for Egypt hoping they know what they are doing! pm if i become MoI (immigration)

4.Not enough citizens... demand is poor and too many products on the market cause the prices to go down!
4a. I'd lower it personally, even though it means less money in the bank, but again, since salaries are
going mostly down, why to take that last bit from hard working citizens
4b. + 4c. Taxes should be debated by people in CPs cabinet and make a sound decision. also, both should
be monitored and watched since market fluctuates specially the last few days/weeks. Import
tax cant hurt if it goes down, since the demand is poor as it is.

5. EDEN, making those friend connections we have already even stronger, and possibly some significant territorial expansion soon since more battles means more fun and more people.

6. Neutral = boring, own regional alliance should have no influence in world politics, and joining a major alliance can represent a problem, but it sure is fun i'd keep my friends close thats for sure.

1)I succeed in congress for Macedonia(area)-Greece with 102 votes (1st in Greece)

2)eEgypt needs an alliance,Egypt can use parts of Saudi Arabia for it's economy

3)First of all, goverment has to mention eEgypt's allies. eEgypt congress must consisted of eEgyptians+allies. Allies like me (greek)I am here to help eEgypt for first steps, when that will be accomplished successfully i will get back to Greece or i continue here if i like it and people too.

4)About economy, I want to be reliable oposite people, i haven't enough skills for economy, but i have views like a) Income tax must be increased , about b) c) i havent tell more.

5)eEgypt goverment must run for alliance, increase economy and watch out for political takeover.

6) As i reffered before, eEgypt must get in alliance, things are clear about which alliance is appropriate.

7) eEgypt, About enemy. Its early but for economy increase heboo succeed invade in Saudi Arabia

1. I am currently serving as congressman, I am the MoFA of Egypt and am working hard on relations with foreign countries.

2. The war was great for the economy while it lasted. I believe Egypt should reciev the western coast of Saudi Arabia regions: Tabuk, Al Madinah, Makkah, Al Bahan, Najran, Al Qasim, and Ha'lil

3. If we do not have a baby-boom soon we need foreign workers to immigrate here, however they should not recieve citizenship. We should talk with a trusted country to bring these workers in.

4. I am free market minded, NO GOVERNMENT intervention, Taxes need to be placed on foreign companies not on domestic companies.

4a.Minimal income tax 1-3%
4b.Non existant
4c.Set very high 50-100% foreign companies should pay more taxes.

5. Our focus should be on a baby-boom, once the Croats and Greeks leave there will be little to no citizens left. So for now BABY-BOOM!. And keeping our territories on the Arabian peninsula, holding a grain region at all cost.

6.Neutral!. But if I had to choose an alliance it be EDEN right now. PANAM is in disarray, NWO won't even acknowledge us unless they PTO.

7. It's between U.A.E and Saudi Arabia

Janko Fran
This guy… well he has a very long opinion so brace yourself

1. I am playing eRepublik continuously for 17 months and have been keeping track of all the changes in game mechanics and rules to know this game well and notice how different decisions in game influence players, country strength and economy. During this period I have been active mostly as journalist, covering different topics, mostly battlefields reports, foreign affairs and game mechanics, but also economy, strategy and statistics as well as taking interviews with some popular and interesting people. So I had enough time to get to know relationships and mentalities of different nations, their priorities and long term allies. I have been working in Ministry of Information of eCroatia when I was called to continue my work on informing public, this time in eEgypt, as Minister of Information of eEgypt. I have been serving for a month as Minister of Information and also as advisor of president heboo. At the end of this term I was asked by president heboo to stay for another term on both duties, which I accepted. These will end on 5th of April with the end of current presidency term.
During the last congress term eEgypt had a lack of congress candidates (25/40). Since I was not planning to run for the congress, I was not aware of that until the deadline already passed. This time I am going to make sure this doesn't happen. This had cost eEgypt and its economy of 75 gold which could be perhaps better used if donated to National Bank of Egypt. Donating 5 gold from congress medal is a custom in eCroatia and I am going to encourage this in eEgypt, by donating 5 gold from my congress medal to National Bank of Egypt if I get elected. In the meantime my party in eCroatia (Team for better eCroatia) was PTOed a few days ago and it changed its president and also its name, to Dinamo Zagreb. Since I got attached to eEgypt in last couple of months and considering that I can't help my PTOed party in eCroatia for the period of next 30 days, I estimated I could be more useful here in eEgypt, so I decided to leave that party until it gets back to the track and joined Arab Liberal Party (EGY).

2. At first I hoped that eMiddle East would be more peaceful region than the real one. But as soon as it was allowed, the chain of wars started. Actually it is a game based on war and strategy and if there is no war, economy and players strength don't develop as quickly as they could develop in times of war, so as it seems, individually almost all benefit from war. Anyway, in-game wars are better than the real ones, because no one dies or gets hurt here. Only some players' egos might get hurt in eRepublik.
eEgypt's foreign policy is based on good relationship with its neighbors which I find as really good policy and I support it. eSaudi Arabia (eKSA) declared eUAE as their Natural Enemy as soon as it was allowed. eEgypt was not in good tactical position at first, since it joined war in eMiddle East the last, but as eKSA war against eUAE went wrong (as it could be expected), and when eIsrael had some delays in attacks caused by some game bugs, eEgyptian tactical situation suddenly became the best one, thanks to good timing and successful attacks, as well as good effort of all fighters on our side.
I talked to eIsraeli president at that time and together we came with a proposal for peace in the eMiddle East until eKSA gets baby boom:

This would include fair as possible deal for all parties involved.
President heboo didn't insist on Tabuk region and was willing to let it to eUAE. Also Al Bahah region was not necessary to eEgypt and we were willing to let it to eKSA as a base for later expansion after baby boom. Unfortuantelly, as it seems to me, eUAE became greedy and started threatening to eEgypt directly, and to eIsrael indirectly, demanding that eEgypt stops conquering eKSA territories after Al Qasim attack or eUAE will attack us, wanting more territories for eUAE. We suspected that eUAE was very interested in eEgypt's high iron region of Upper Egypt. Thus, we started negotiations with EDEN members trying to strengthen our MPP relations. We negotiated with eRomania, eBulgaria and eGreece on MPPs and military help from EDEN HQ in case of war with eUAE. I got confirmation from eRomanian president for our MPP with eRomania. Unfortunately, it was not accepted in eRomanian congress. Actually, it seems that we proposed the law a bit early and that eRomanian president and MoFAs didn't have enough time to present this plan to their congress. So we agreed to postpone it. We also had negotiations with eGreece, whose leadership promised to help us in case of war with eUAE. There was a plan for eGreece to enter Arabian Peninsula through Sinai and to occupy eKSA territories which were either occupied by eUAE or on their most probable path (Tabuk, Ha'il, Northern Borders, Eastern Province). According to the plan, eGreece should drive out eUAE from eKSA, eGreece should settle in Eastern Province and block eUAE from further expansion to the eMiddle East. eGreece should guarantee safety to eMiddle East region. eGreece should also rent Oil region (Asir) from eKSA and let the other regions to eKSA. The plan was complicated by the fact that eGreece and eEgypt both had MPP with eCroatia, so it would be better to avoid direct conflict. Therefore we proposed eKSA to make a bridge for eGreece through Tabuk and Sinai and for eKSA to be evacuated to Lower Egypt as a part of Grain - Fruits swap (Lower Egypt for Al Qasim).
It was a coincidence that these negotiations were held on 8th of March. President heboo insisted that eGreece pays 100 gold for passing eGreece through Sinai, but president of eGreece wouldn't agree to that. So heboo left the negotiations. Unfortunately, Lawrence of Arabia didn't accept that deal soon enough. And eGreece decided to make the bridge through Sinai with eCyprus and they notified one of our MoDs. At one moment, we had both bridge plans in execution, however, there was lack of good communication and coordination with eKSA, so eEgypt didn't manage to take Tabuk and eCyprus already took Sinai, so our relations with eKSA got to deteriorate. Lawrence of Arabia started to think eEgypt has betrayed them and started to ask for rent from eEgypt for Al Qasim, although it was agreed that eEgypt will keep it for a month for free for offering help to eKSA. Leadership of eKSA got things out of control and were losing territories daily and their nerves too... So they chose to get this war against eEgypt seriously, trying to liberate Al Qasim anyway, as they thought they have best chances to win battles against eEgypt. However, we managed to secure the region. We regretted such development of events with eKSA, but were hoping eKSA will get a new, Arab president, as presidential elections were nearing, and that we could have better communication with next president of eKSA. So we have decided to maintain control over currently held eKSA core regions because we were suspecting in eKSA power to keep them in war against eIsrael and eUAE.
In the meantime, some eKSA core regions changed the owners and eCyprus (eGreece) chose to change the path and instead of going for Tabuk, Ha'il and Northern Borders, they went for Red Sea Coast and Al Madinah, neutralizing some of our efforts in war. However, time was critical and we couldn't change that. eGreece promised to return our territories back, , including Al Madinah as well when they settle in Eastern Province. Unfortunately, Admin's decision on trade routes complicates this further and now we are trying to find another acceptable solution. All in all, it is difficult to control such complex battlefield with many simultaneous battles, especially since we are a new country with limited military power, because good communication and coordination are critical, and there are also some unpredictable factors to be included, such as Battle Hero hunters, and Rebel War starters, then new regions of our allies (like when eCroatia won Vojvodina last week and we got some Serbian fighters fighting for eEgypt when we should have lost a battle in order to get to a certain tactical point), and rule changes.
eEgypt should at least try to get Al Madinah and Al Qasim in order to have grain, and oil is a plus and necessary with this trade route rule. The alternative would be to get Tabuk and Ha'il. I am for negotiations and swapping or renting these regions from eKSA. Because trying to keep it by force is counterproductive for our relationships with our neighbors and unnecessarily expensive. The native people in these regions should also have a choice to stay in their region or to move to their native country. Occupying country should also grant them some basic rights; at least a Welcome message and tutorials in their native language and free ticket if they choose to leave their region and go to their homeland country.

3. Immigration is not dangerous for eEgypt since there are no more automatic citizenship grants. And number of Citizenship grants by our congressmen is very limited (only 1 CS per congressman and only 40 congressmen in total, and in last congress term eEgypt had only 25 congressmen, so we had to turn down many requests from people wishing to settle in eEgypt). Of course, congressmen should be careful when granting a CS in order not to let people who have harmful intentions toward eEgypt. That is why people should choose their congressmen wisely on congressional elections and to give trust to congress candidates for who they are certain that won't misuse their trust. Except that, immigration could be only beneficial to eEgypt. If they work here they will bring more profit to their employers, they will produce more products, ensuring moderate or lower prices for people of eEgypt. If they fight here, eEgypt will have more military power. And citizens of eEgypt should invite their friends to eRepublik to ensure that Egyptians are always here to correct things when things might get separate ways with interests of Egyptian people.
