Canadian War, Government Funding and the DoE

Day 2,381, 08:10 Published in USA USA by Franklin Stone

In her recent article, Reset Your Head, President Molly Emma announced that the ‘Great Northern War’ with Canada would be ending. What I find distasteful about this sudden change of heart by the American government is the manner in which it was accomplished, after weeks of American Congress members and citizens supporting an end to this war and being called traitors because they did so; the current government decides overnight to basically capitulate and give the Canadians and their leaders exactly what they wanted -a moral victory.

Though I have and still do support our withdrawal from the ‘Great White North’, the way in which it was handled shows that our current leaders will not only turn on long time brothers and allies when their egos are bruised, they will turn on their own citizens who disagree with government policy calling them traitors. Our President and her advisors have now accomplished exactly what American’s had been calling for, so are they now traitors?

Currently there are several discussion going on in the Public Congressional Proceedings sub-forum, which I encourage all Americans to read and make known your stance on them.

[Discussion] Work Tax Reduction to 8%

Currently I am in favor of remaining at a 10% WT, unless the reduction to an 8% WT is also tied to the USAF becoming a self supporting MU; with the sudden reversal in the ‘Great Northern War’ with Canada as raise in the WT is no longer needed. It has been proven that self supporting MUs are possible and it is time that America’s military became one.

[Discussion] Tax Rebate Attempt #2

I do not support a tax rebate simply because the PMUs have stated again and again they will not accept such a rebate, leaving only the USAF to benefit from such a program; an MU which currently has it’s own Budget line Item.

[Discussion] Budget Amendment - Arm America

This program I support only if it is used to arm citizens who are not a part of the USAF. IMO the government supported military already receives the lion’s share of American Tax Revenue through their own budget line item and SCI requests.

Whether you support these discussions or not, it is every American citizens right to express their opinion; I encourage every citizen to take part in these discussions.

I wish to thank the Department of Education for the wonderful Personal Missions program which they sponsor, a program which receives NO support from the government and proves that such programs do not require American Tax Revenue to work; there are many other private and party programs that aid citizens -none of which receive government funding. Currently only two programs are receiving government funds, the USAF and the new Arm America program; IMO both these programs can and should be self supporting.

Always remember: America Strength & Honor
CURRAHEE!
