Japan,

I am once again serving as President.

It was one of the closest elections in recent times and it definitely was one of the closest elections I was in, since I lost to Reiji in the party presidential elections a year ago. My opponent; Kokawa based his campaign on the fact that the cabinet was inactive and power was too concentrated. Anyways as such I have distributed my cabinet to be somewhat party-diverse, but above all I focused mainly on their abilities and activity.

My Cabinet for the May term:

Minister of Defense: Ecka Stealer of Cows

Ecka has been leading the ULJ for the past two or so months. He’s an active member who’s contributed to the community through writing articles about domestic news. Although a bit new the military system, I’m confident he is a quick learner and will adapt quickly to the ministry.

Minister of Media: Vincent Garibaldi

Vincent is the leader of Shinsengumi Party and manages the Shinsengumi military unit. He is internationally well connected and informed and has done a great job last month as Minister of Media. Thus he will once again be serving as Minister of Media.

Minister of Finance: Danyeo

Danyeo was former president and MoF. He knows the market and the monetary mechanics behind eRep. Danyeo is definitely one of the best suited and qualified candidates to lead this ministry.

Minister of Culture and History: Nowe

Nowe has been a bit of a controversial figure but it channels into his RP article pretty well. I believe he would do an excellent job breathing life to the since-dormant ministry. This ministry has traditionally had a difficult task of capturing people’s attention and after Dank left there was a huge void that needed to be filled.

Minister of Gaming: Yonsil and Ladvidicus



Anyways this concept was floating around in eJapan IRC for a while. Basically it’s like the MoCH, but it appeals to a different audience. Yonsil and Ladvidicus has been joining in on the games frequently and they’re pretty active. The reason we have two ministers for this cabinet is so we can get more ideas circulating since this ministry is rather new. I’m hoping to get this ministry to take hold, so we can play other games outside of eRep and strengthen the community’s bonds, etc. Yonsil produces really well-written articles therefore he will be leading and be the voice of this ministry.

Minister of Internal Affairs: FruitCommando and Pettek

Minister of Internal Affairs will have a bit of a different role this term. Its purpose will be to survey and respond to the citizens. FruitCommando is a bit of a troll but definitely one of the most active members in Japan. He has made a smooth transition into our forum @ nipponblog and the IRC. He will be pming various citizens and surveying their opinions which will later be transcribed onto several articles.

Pettek has been releasing a series of articles with statistics about Japan which deserves a wider publicity. With such information utilized effectively, we will be able to manage the government with greater efficiency when it comes to domestic affairs. He and Fruit will be working side by side in this ministry.

Terra Ambassadors: TheReverendSeanV and Alfred Ball

TheReverendSeanV and Alfred Ball have taken the role of Terra’s ambassador. TRSV has the negotiating and has proven he has the ability to control his emotions under complex circumstances. These skills are useful and quite necessary when dealing with different nations who are much militarily stronger than us.
Alfred Ball was the former president and has been MoFA several terms before. Although he is taking a bit of a break this term, he still manages one of the best international connections out of Japan. This will prove invaluable when we need assistance and will be especially valuable when establishing relations.
TRSV and Alfred will be working together to relay the messages both from and to Terra.

-Ambassador hea😛 DanPMK

Former MoFA, but MK will be managing the Ambassador. MK also had the difficult job of recruiting people and sending them to learn about different countries. This part of the foreign ministry has been dead since Reiji’s time as MoFA but MK has done a great job at reviving the ambassador list. However MK will not be active enough to be taking control of the foreign affairs ministry directly.

Minister of Foreign Affairs: Myself

I will be once again heading our foreign affairs. Although I will have the help of Terra(n) ambassadors, I will like to specialize in this ministry myself. Thus I will be responsible for everything that ultimately happens in this ministry. But all foreign affair matters will be discussed with congress before-hand and will be voted upon, unless Japan is facing imminent danger which requires a quick decision.


I'll be publishing an in-depth article soon about the newer ministry such as gaming, the new role ministry of internal affairs, and the military/private communes. I'll also answer the Q&A on the general discussions since we didn't have a chance to finish that.
