Now, I mean no offense to the decent folks who are involved in this business venture, but this really ruined the media. Personally, I stopped buying votes months ago because the Gold-CC exchange rate crashed too hard, and basically people are paying like $10 these days to have an article voted, which is rather ridiculous. It takes some people 1 1/2 hours of working minimum wage in the USA in order to get enough to pay for that. Anyone with a deep enough wallet and nothing better to spend it on can get a bajillion votes on a daily basis just by paying for it. Not all of us can be big shots like this handsome, upstanding Louisiana businessman. He made a fortune in the booming PTO industry. You might recognize him.
There are absolute garbage articles which get voted up sky high when they would've gotten a few dozen otherwise and barely ever been noticed, but since they are forced upon the world, then everyone and their mother gets to read this rubbish. This is actually one of the strategies that the reigning PTO government in the eUSA uses to try and push their propaganda. They think the more nonsense they vote up for you to see, the more you will believe it. I sincerely hope people are not THAT stupid as to fall for this classic dictatorial scheme of buying up the media.
I honestly don't know what can be done to change this, but I wanted to say something about the sorry state of our media today. What ever happened to the days where articles got voted up because they contained worthy content and hundreds of people genuinely wanted to read and vote it because the writer deserved to be applauded for their work? Personally, I think that people need to refuse to vote for articles which are filled with utter nonsense and libel, or else this needs to be something which is not permitted to be used. It must be nice for those who spend their salaries for virtual media or who spend our hard earned tax dollars on publishing anti-American propaganda meant to suppress the population of our country, but for those of us who believe in honest, truthful media, this should not rightfully stand unchallenged.
