Buying Article Votes Ruined the Media

Day 1,838, 00:50 by Ronald Gipper Reagan

Now, I mean no offense to the decent folks who are involved in this business venture, but this really ruined the media. Personally, I stopped buying votes months ago because the Gold-CC exchange rate crashed too hard, and basically people are paying like $10 these days to have an article voted, which is rather ridiculous. It takes some people 1 1/2 hours of working minimum wage in the USA in order to get enough to pay for that. Anyone with a deep enough wallet and nothing better to spend it on can get a bajillion votes on a daily basis just by paying for it. Not all of us can be big shots like this handsome, upstanding Louisiana businessman. He made a fortune in the booming PTO industry. You might recognize him.

There are absolute garbage articles which get voted up sky high when they would've gotten a few dozen otherwise and barely ever been noticed, but since they are forced upon the world, then everyone and their mother gets to read this rubbish. This is actually one of the strategies that the reigning PTO government in the eUSA uses to try and push their propaganda. They think the more nonsense they vote up for you to see, the more you will believe it. I sincerely hope people are not THAT stupid as to fall for this classic dictatorial scheme of buying up the media.

I honestly don't know what can be done to change this, but I wanted to say something about the sorry state of our media today. What ever happened to the days where articles got voted up because they contained worthy content and hundreds of people genuinely wanted to read and vote it because the writer deserved to be applauded for their work? Personally, I think that people need to refuse to vote for articles which are filled with utter nonsense and libel, or else this needs to be something which is not permitted to be used. It must be nice for those who spend their salaries for virtual media or who spend our hard earned tax dollars on publishing anti-American propaganda meant to suppress the population of our country, but for those of us who believe in honest, truthful media, this should not rightfully stand unchallenged.

Candor Day 1,838, 01:37

First, Pfeiff doesn't like his RL picture being put up in game and I think it's the right thing to do to respect that. Not that anyone's asking or you probably care. I know people do that to you too, but I don't think you care, judging by your videos and what not.

As to the subject, buying 400 votes or more is a waste. But on their own I can't recall the last time I saw an article get more than 150 ish, and that's just a representation of a smaller active population than three years ago. Meh.

Ronald Gipper Reagan
Ronald Gipper Reagan Day 1,838, 01:41

^ Candor, I can get to mid 2's if I really push an article.

Candor Day 1,838, 01:55

Ya, I know there are a small handful of people that can do that, and as you say, pushing it makes a lot of difference. But very few break 75-150 naturally. I haven't settled on an exact number, but I'm roughly of the opinion that a natural 200 is a homerun. I don't think more folks than that read media regularly, but they can be led to read via shouts, ofc.

Krimpie Day 1,838, 02:15

Dude, stop whining and get a decent job

Ronald Gipper Reagan

^ I actually can, but I choose to save my gold to wager on Madden lolol

morningblur Day 1,840, 15:10

No Ajay, You have actually had a hand in ruining the media. Almost daily you churn out articles with the intelligence of a mentally challenged village idiot. Your thought process can best be compared to what one would expect from a child, not an adult. Yet you continue to churn out these shit articles. You have brought hordes of Servs and others to the country who churn out articles consisting of "Me eAmerican now, elites bad, we peoples in AFA be saving countries, ug ug ungawa, bookie bookie".

morningblur Day 1,840, 15:19

Your Servian hordes show the same basic lack of communication skills that have become the hallmark of illegal immigrants. Actual immigrants take the time to learn to communicate properly, yours don't. They don't really need to know more than "ugg ugg me vote AFA" do they? So take your share of the blame for our horrible media Ajay, you've earned it. Your AFA is running a guy for president who comes off more like a simian rather than a human being when he communicates. So yeah take a bow.
