After a long time of not playing I started checking out the market prices and noticed something that might be obvious to some of you but actually surprised me.

Houses. Are. Worth. It. Because: Overtime points

With current market prices you'll a house for 370GBP, if you get a job right now then you'll probably be earning at least 55GBP a day. Since a standard Q1 house lasts for 168 hours and generates 1 overtime point an hour, it'll eventually give you 168 overtime points which you can spend on working twice a day.
Working overtime costs 24 overtime points, with 168 points you'll end up working overtime 7 times. That means that with a 55GBP job you'll end up earning 7*55 (385) from the house. Which is more than what you would have spent. Add in the fact that houses actually give you an energy boost and you've a clear reason to buy them.

Though keep in mind that market prices could change pretty quick and this article might not be true in a week.
