Britain and America
I'm going to start out by saying, I am british in real life. but live in the US in game.
Why Do you live in the US in game when your british?
because I hate the UK more than anything when it comes to this game, and thats saying alot because as a citizen of the UK I feel uncomfortable speaking on the offensive to a country I live in.
why do I hate Britain so much in game
at first signing up to the game I thought, great. Get to fight for my country when I'm to much of a pussy to do it in RL ^^ (hey at least I'm being honest) after looking into it all. I read all the good things Britain has done. Here is my list

Good emtions man. Some of the bigger players in the British betrayal were done by real life Americans so don't feel bad.

As an Emarican and RL American, I would love to see our relations in game be that of friends and trustworthy allies.
I've seen a decent amount of sentiment from eBrits about this as well, I hope it overcomes the PEACE dopplegangers at some point.

We did nothing against the Yanks as we occupied Canada, not the US, and the Canadians have already moved on, unlike the butthurt Yankees.

I don't think anyone in the UK would agree with you. If they were our puppets we could make them like the glorious deliciousness that is peanut butter. Instead, for whatever reason, they hate it like nothing else. Disconcerting to say the least.
As for eUK/eUS relations, I would like nothing more than to see a working relationship between our two great nations; much preferable to this rather open and prepubescent flaming.

As an American and serving in the RL USA, working with the Brits is awesome. Everyone I talk to is just so awesome. So working side by side in game would be pretty neat as well.
im all for it but i like seeing the uk flag flying anywhere.... is there anyway that there could be a union without the american flag over the Britain? maybe the creation of a new country?
Well spoken Luke. But it is going to be a long time before the eUK and the eUS can be friends again. But I do hope it happens someday.

I like your sentiments. Both in game and in RL we've been very good friends and I believe it would be great to have our have Britain stand with us again as allies. Sadly, this betrayal is still fresh in our minds and there are stubborn folks on both side of the fence. Perhaps in time we'll see these two nations set aside their difference and work together once more.

Considering that the U.S/U.K Special Relationship is the bulwark of Western Civilization in RL, it seems strange to be on opposing sides in game. Hopefully this can be corrected.

Nice idea, but they just have too many PEACE alliances and hence MPPs going to be activated.

That's both of the PEACE superpowers of Indonesia AND Hungary and the high-middling powers of France, Serbia and Russia.
A far safer alternative is to make a political change in the eUK. eBritish expatriates and dissidents should form a government in exile/underground. That does not risk opening up another huge MPP attack route. It is not even CONSIDERABLE to try to take over the eUK right now as the eUK has not opened up all the eAmerican MPPs that may enable it sustain any kind of invasion. The eUSA's allies collectively do far more damage than the eUSA, and eRomania has shown to do more in some battles. The eUSA's greatest strength may not be in its sheer population, but in its alliances. That is nothing to be less proud of, though.
As for the unequivocal pro-eUS sentiments from original eUK citizens - great to hear. I really thought the majority of eBritish really changed in heart to PEACE and against the eUSA. Now I know that is simply not true. As always since the First World War, Americans stand behind their British friends.
It would be nice. But right now there is more hard feelings than hurt feelings. Maybe if the eUK did make some attempt at amending,it would show something to those hurt. And the rest may fall in place.

An attack against Canada is an attack against the USA. We value Canada above ourselves because we have died and been reborn together. So, don't act like you didn't hurt us cause you only occupied Canada.
As an RL American, I am very fond of RL Britain, as well as the commwealth nations. But eUk betrayed the US to PEACE attacks in a way that RL Britain would never do. eUK has never apologized or made any overtures to the eUS to make up for it. Even so, the eUS was ready to make up, but eUK embargoed the eUS and invaded our close allies, Norway and Sweden, while mocking the eUS throughout their media.
My RL biases make me want to see the eUK back into the fold; however, the eUK seems intent on cutting the ties.

The situation in this game feels wrong as there ought to be an agreement of morals and standards between the UK and the US as there is in real life.
The reason there isn't? Well its because its just a game my old fruit. People don't play it as a political feast like it could be, they play it no deeper than red team vs blue team - whichever is which.
Its not and doesn't seem to be a case of lets have a real online world but lets see who can win teh gaem. (as it were)
The folks in charge of us ~ probably clever enough but they are playing their own game and as they are in charge, we are all playing their game too. If you dare to disagree then you will not be permitted in their coterie and will be excluded from all influence. And make no bones, they don't really need your 'vote' or your support as they have plenty of other supporters who don't mind toeing the line and just (again) 'play teh gaem.'
Just my opinion - getting to be a jaded one now but these countries aren't countries, they are guilds (or clans or tribes or whatever) which are forced to take members that they don't particularly want aboard and that they can't kick.
I wish it were different but the game mechanics have made it so.

Agree completely. I moved from eUK to eUSA when the war got going.
Fighting for PEACE was fun the first time, but I thought, 'What am I doing?' and moved to the USA to fight, fight, fight those PEACE scummers all the way back.

I think it will always end up being USA/UK/Canada/Australia together it just makes sense as no matter how we got here we all started in the same place 300 years ago!

As a RL Anglophile-American, with RL friends in the UK, it was somewhat painful for me to see the divide start even before the official crossover of the eUK to PEACE.
But since then, I've gotten used to it.
In RL, the UK and the US are the best of friends and allies. But this is not RL. As long as GLaDOS and Dish take their marching orders from Budapest, no reconciliation is possible.
No one in the eUS will forget that the eUK occupied 4 or 5 provinces of our e-Allies in the Brolliance, eCanada, for weeks.
I think the author's vision is a laudable one.
I also think it's not even close to realistic within an e-year.

I'm also from the UK irl but i started here in the eUS and stayed here for many months until i decided to go move to my homeland i think i was there maybe 2 weeks before i moved back with fear in my eyes , It was like a kindergarten over there but with less maturity .

I love the British. They always help us give us American troops alcohol as we're not legally allowed to purchase it in Iraq/Afghanistan.

While I would have loved for the UK to have been a part of the Brolliance... I don't see that happening anytime soon. All I want to do is burn a swath through England, to destroy that hospital they sold us out for. There must be a price for betrayal.
As a real-life Anglophile, I swear I'll be brushing away the tears when all those adorable English moppets are impaled on my bayonet. I dearly pray that those Brits who survive the coming napalm-bombings and execution squads (as well as the inevitable "relocation" camps) will someday be my friends.

I'm a RL Brit (Scot actually), I left UK shortly after joining and moved to Israel as things were a bit stagnant. Then moved to the US to support them in the war.
I think that the UK's approach to the War was nothing short of craven cowardice mixed with inept opportunism. RL the UK has a history in my view it can be proud of. In E-Republic it's flag is worthy of less respect than used toilet paper.
It wasn't even effective in it's Villany which would at least have given it some credibility.
Look at the way eSwitzerland has turned around... the same may happen for the eU.K.
Ultimately there can be no peace until we have the stomach for it, so long as good Americans and good Brits are willing to fight and (not) die for their countries the conflict will continue.
