Bristel for President [Just Another Party candidacy]

Day 1,779, 17:38 Published in Ireland Ireland by Bristel Akina

That's right. The prodigal son has returned and is asking for your support in the presidential elections.

I believe I have what it takes to preside over the country effectively and with honor and patriotism.

Who am I?

I was born in Pennsylvania, eUSA on Day 774 in the midst of a few battles between the UK and US.

I spent a few months in the eUS learning the game, and helping to liberate Karnataka (Karma Taco) and other areas in Asia like Liaoning (Lion King) from Phoenix rule.

After some time as an ambassador to eMexico, I left the eUS because of a treaty that prevented us from taking London and wiping out the UK completely.

I moved to eIreland in the hopes of getting some revenge on the Redcoats who had troubled us for so long. I helped secure Northern Ireland for the first time, and joined Eire Aontaithe, a party of hard-working and intelligent members who were always considered outsiders.

After our party gained more clout, we started to run candidates for the Dáil. I ran 6 times and won seats as a Teachta Dála. After a few months, around the time that new countries like Taiwan and New Zealand were added, I ran for president in the Independent Voices party and lost to Connell who ran in my former party.

I became disillusioned and left eIreland in search of new opportunities to grow a new country, and I ended up in eNZ, running for congress and VP there a few times. Serbs had taken over the government basically, and I left there to move back to my first home, the eUS, where I spent some time before going into inactivity for most of 2011.

After returning to the game, I decided to make a comeback for my 1000th day on eRep, and here I am now.

What I've Done for eIreland

Among taking my duties as a congressman seriously, trying to run for the whip of congress once, and fighting endlessly against our enemies, I've been a force for getting our new citizens informed and integrated in a friendly society since I moved here.

Lately, after returning, I've gained 3 patriot medals fighting for Ireland. Fighting against Poles and Brits, and dealing over 2 million damage... (which I find not so bad for someone who had been inactive for a while).

I've never stolen from Ireland, or fought against Ireland when I've lived here. I respect treaties, and I respect our allies.

The biggest ally I remember is Croatia. They've done so much for us in the past, and I would be a force for moving closer to our great Croatian allies.

(Hvala, Hrvati!)

What's Next For Ireland?

My platform includes some very simple ideas which will bring our activity up, which is first and foremost:

1- Get new players, and new immigrants, into our MUs, parties and integrated into Irish society:

This is no easy task, as many new citizens can go without contacting experienced players, or getting information for weeks or months, and will just two-click in order to keep going.

I will have a team of volunteers, and I volunteer myself to actively contacting new members and specifically writing articles that can help point new citizens in the right direction.

2- Including all parties in political dialogue:

I know what fractured and difficult place Ireland can be in every aspect of life, military and politics.

I will not ignore the parties of Ireland for suggestions and plans, and I think it's best to work with all of them in order to push Ireland up the hill.

As a congressman and Party President of Eire Aontaithe in the past, I've worked with all parties, in order to gather the inertia necessary to turn Ireland into a force to be reckoned with.

3- Refusal to steal from our own country:

Malbekh said it himself. Our country has been robbed and betrayed multiple times by presidents past, and the current lineup of presidents is no different.

Here, he outlines the trustworthiness of our candidates: "In Ireland the C in CP stands for Corrupt"

He states himself that in regards to me, he cannot find anything controversial. And this is true.

Does that make me boring? Hardly. But when you have other candidates who have stolen from the country in the past, it makes it hard to choose someone who is better known.

I say, choose me, elect me your president. I am trustworthy, hard-working, and a damn handsome man, if I do say so myself.

Votail Bristel Akina, le do thoil. Vote for Bristel, a vote for Ireland!

Slán, a ligean ar bogadh ar aghaidh le chéile!
