Be a part of the things WE do

Day 1,644, 15:30 Published in USA USA by Komari

It’s hard to argue with the importance of finding a place within this game to get more out of the time we invest. The game gives us the basic modules and the players have expanded them in a variety of ways. Some people choose politics, others choose the media, and some (like me) focus on the military.

It is true that a player can see the various modules in this game relying only on the mechanics the admin provides. However this almost misses the social element of the game experience. Sure you could join a political party, write an article here and there, and click the fight button throughout the day, but that isn’t really a very deep game experience.

It still takes a lot of clicks to be a two-clicker

There are many different organizations and groups that will allow you to see new sides of this game and interact more closely with your fellow players. The organization I am most familiar with and the most interested in advocating is the eUS Military. That’s not to discredit the other similar military groups in any way; I simply have firsthand experience with this group and know what it offers.

When I first thought about writing an article about the importance of finding a military group I looked at the concept of “the things I’ve done” as a theme for why you should get involved. I could say that I lived in the Karnataka fortress, that I moved around a hexagonal map, that I watched walls fall, and so on. However, after thinking about this I came to an important realization- there is an underlying theme to everything I have done. Ready for it?

It’s not about the things I have done, it is about the things that WE have done.

The best accomplishments I can attribute to my use of the military module are things that can only be accomplished by a group. To see coordinated efforts turning the tide of battle is amazing. By myself I have an impact on a battle, but together WE direct the overall course of the battle. We’ve secured resources, we’ve helped our allies, we’ve stopped our enemies, and we’ve helped shape the world we are a part of. The people I have met have shown me new ways to look at things, and they treat as more than just a tool of war. I honestly feel that everyone in the eUS Military (past and present) has demonstrated the tremendous power of people coming together with a shared vision and surpassing individual limitations for a whole that is greater than its parts.

We have shared many experiences in my time here and those experiences go beyond the simple game mechanics. We celebrate each other’s accomplishments, help each other through problems, and still manage to be a renowned fighting force. We’ve congratulated members on graduations, birthdays, engagements, etc.; consoled each other in times of loss, and continually demonstrated that this group of people genuinely cares.

I encourage everyone to find something like this in the game; it is what keeps you wanting to come back every day. Whether you are a new player or someone who feels they already know all there is to know about the game I can tell you that there is a place for you here. If you’d like to learn more about the game we can help you. If you want to be a part of something bigger than the individual there is a place here for you. We have various branches that each offer unique people and experiences depending on what it is you are looking for. I’d love to see you in the Training Corps. where we can show you the ropes and help you decide where you would most like to spend your time in your military career.

We have different aspects of our organization depending on what it is you are looking for, and best of all wherever you choose you will get to be a part of the things the WE experience.

If you have any questions about the eUS Military I encourage you to ask me. I’d love to help you.
