I would like to start off by mourning death of Skype group.
Skype gave a feeling of togetherness to a small group people of our already small community. The sense of satisfaction from hearing people talk cannot be known even one spends much time typing away on IRC. Heck, Skype was the thing which brought back our beloved Ashwamedh back from eDead. Thank you Microsoft, Wild Quark and Hamturk for the Skype group.
Unfortunately, When Wild Quark decided to go eDead, He(Yes,Its a He) killed our Skype group also. Wild Quark,you will never get away for this.
Let us have a moment of silence for the skype group.

Moving on. Well, not really.
In remembrance of Wild Quark, I've taken upon myself to reviveher his original Daily Quiz. I know I cannot reach anywhere near the popularity of the original, but I will try my best.
The current crop of puzzles in DQ are a tad monotonous and so are seeing waning participation. So, as the original, It will be back to picture quizzes and general quiz. Everything is pretty much as original.
So get ready to put on your thinking cap, Scratch your head or bang it to the keyboard or Whatever it takes!
As with the original, people can put in their Questions. Whose questions I choose to publish will also be rewarded.*So spread your knowledge and bring out the Derek O'Brien in you! Contest starts 26th Jan*
Also, The decreasing media activity is also a cause of worry. As my try to keep up media activity, There shall also be an "Article of the week" contest.
No complexities here like topic or anything.The best article of the week from a Sunday through Saturday will be rewarded.* The winner will be announced on the first day of the next week[Sunday]. The jury is the public itself. Anyone can PM me anytime [till Day change eRep Time Sunday] with their choice and reason for their choice. Validity of votes will be my discretion. All published articles are valid entries. Articles will be considered in contest from 27th Jan* day change eRep time [1330 hrs IST]
For all this to happen I need Sponsors. The success of this undertaking relies solely on the generousity of sponsors. So whoever is willing to donate do come forward. Anything goes, Gold, money, weapons,food.. Even Votes and Subscription will do
