I think you always should make a decision on who fits the best with your ideas and I can see after the great interview with H.O.P.E. big party member you choose for them.

But still keep up your programm and do the best for eBe.

Ton réel reproche est sur notre/mon soutient vis à vis des H.O.P.E... Mais tu l'as dis toi même, de votre coté : vous n'avez rien fait pour le rechercher ce soutient Babyboom.

What should I say else, shall we change a whole system if two people aren't happy ? I don't think so, I find it kind of dumb, let me say it like that, to support people who publicly damaged eBelgium. You state Kylero as example, well look around, a lot of HOPE members acted the same way. I have nothing against HOPE, I just have sth against some HOPE members who just don't want to play the game...

You can disagree with me. But when you say "if you're not happy, you can leave... There is a problem. You shouldnt ask anyone to leave the community because you disagree with him.

As for the H.O.P.E member, I agree. So why I get so much hate for supporting H.O.P.E ?

Vous faites preuve une nouvelle fois de cet haine organisée, comme à chaque élection. Avec une nouvelle cible à présent.

Vos constantes insultes et rejets sont la cause de son article, c'est un peu simple de lui remettre la responsabilité sur le dos par la suite.

McKitkat et aVegan sont très différent, l'un nous chasse de la communauté et l'autre décide de trouver un pays plus accueillant... Je dirai même que c'est deux opposés.

Je ne vois pas ça de la même manière, mais la politique c'est une compétition. Moi je vois ce candidat dont le parti accepte des PTO, dont le parti est composé de PTO, et dont le parti s'acharne sur ceux qui veillent au bien de la communauté. On ne sera peut-être pas d'accord mais mon point de vue est celui là.

I personally have critics on both sides, the mass-enforcing from the RB-ATO&co side, and aVegan's decisions (I agree with most of his intentions, but not often with his methods). Anyway I think it is indeed time for HOPE to be heard.

The mass-enforcing what? ATO votes on every decision. Do you think Swaqq asked all his members if they want to support A Vegan?

BB is a different party with different context, it is mostly based on IRL friendship and can permit itself to have a more autocratic leadership, which has others pro's and con's.

By RB-ATO&co I meant the current majority, didn't target ATO especially.

And finally by enforcing I mean the politico-social pressure some individuals ( /!\ I said some) of the majority put together on every statement that doesn't concord with their views. Just read some mass-commenting on newspapers for some examples, it has its psychological weight.

(and btw Swaqq isn't a tyran neither, he doesn't force or pressure, he only exhorts people)

Sorry Yannis, first you can't put together ATO and RB.
RB and ATO are two different parties, with different views about what a party is and what partecipation in eBelgium is. RB didn't support ATO many many many times. We are compelled to work together just because ATO think RB is a better alternative to HOPE for a working eBelgium, and RB thinks ATO is better than HOPE for the same reason.
Second, Swaqq exhorts only pressures, and that is good. We discuss and vote equally: why is it worse?
And then, people who never met each other, who even don't know the name of each other, who freely give their comments in articles are bad because they have "psychological weight".
How much "psychological weight" can you put on to RL friends, who play only sometimes?

I mean, a so long comment just to say that this "mass-commenting" is not organized by any party (your comment supposed that), but it is made freely by older and newer active players which didn't even know each other and have different political views in erepublik (and even in RL). "mass-commenting" what?

Just to say : as ATO PP, boer jan asked me to support his candidacy. I answered him, give me two days to make a vote with ATO's members. Without orders or orientations, they all vote for him... SwaqqCoryn was first on the poll list (don't think we tried to eject you)

almost every party does this with their new members (except that ATO gives tips but does not give resources, which should be responsibility of eBelgium, trough the Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Education not of single parties).
if you'll continue to enjoy eBelgium, you will understand that it is not enough a reason to support a particular country president candidate.

Really everyone should try to find an agreement to end this annoying situation in eBE there's a lot of things to do instead of harassing each others, I won't take a side since both of them are guilty in a way.

What about trying to reunite everyone involved in the conflict in a irc channel and discuss about the "problem" without any attempt to flame? I'm sure people here are mature enough to do that.

I'd like to remind something to everyone before ending my comment !

I know that political parties are involved in CP elections but ! CP elections aren't the same as Congress Elections, and it's better to judge the candidate itself BEFORE judging on what political party he/she is.

Of course a CP candidate usually have the same objectives as those who supports their candidacy so it's impossible to say that a CP will be neutral on his decisions.

followed this discussion on my phone at work but could not answer, so i do it now.
first I did not contact BB because I was convinced that they would run for CP, I told that after a reaction of them.
For the rest, it is their right to choose HOPE if they are sure that A Vegan's ideas is in their line of thoughts.
For me that makes no difference, if I get elected I will work with them and with HOPE as far as that is possible, both of the party's will have members in my cabinet.
Al we have to do is get a line in the different ways of thinking and get one strong line that suits everybody

It all comes down to this really: there's a group of extremely conservative, narrowminded and bigot people in eBE. They don't want chance and they don't want other people threatening their little "power vacum" and all those who do pose a treat are called either PTO'ers or lunatics.

Eventually, your power bubble will burst because more and more new people are joining whereas more and more old people are leaving. The sooner you realize that you have to work with Babyboom, AV and Hope, the easier it will be for everyone.
