Today I'd like to present you quite interesting game called eRepublik.

Why am I writing about it? Well, probably because I found some hidden resources in the game, which haven’t been noticed in any other.

Moreover, I understood that I have been frequently visiting the game for three months already. And I am not a fan of such games.

So what is the point of eRepublik? It’s a strategic game. Most of the game is based on communication among players, sometimes speaking different languages. It is, literally, a prototype of our Earth. There are countries. Real countries with real citizens. There are real eUnited States, which are supported by real eAmericans, real eHungary, which is inhabited by real eHungarians, real eRussia, which is inhabited by eRussians. And there are more eCountries, which a played by real ePeople. So, the first advantage of eRepublik is:

That this game has gathered more than 200 000 players from all over the world, from eAmericans to ePhilipinos and eIranians. Anyone who speaks English will get lots of fun from socializing.

But what does communication mean without the ingame fun?

When you have countries, you have wars. Third World War ended just recently (yes, Third). Many believe that a new war is on our doorstep. Army functioned during war, and still is now. Every player can join the army and get orders from the commanding officer via mail or ICQ.

The second advantage of eRepublic is that there is a prototype of the Earth in the game. There are Europe, America, Africa, Asia and even Australia. Countries are divided to regions. For example, eRussia has Kaliningrad, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Western Siberia, etc. eAmerica has states, and so on. There are real wars, with real soldiers and squads, and even some commandoes, who are ready to land in different countries to defend homeland or an ally in any time.

But war is just a small part of eLife. There are countries; therefore, there are politics and economics.

But here I’ll change point of view and start to speak about life of a usual eCitizen.

So, you became a eCitizen. You have your level of wellness. If you don’t eat, it will decrease. You have your experience level. But it’s not that kind of experience that allow you to raise skills and to kill larger monsters. Certainly not!

Level of experience helps us to unlock new abilities. What do you have to do to raise your level? You need _just_ work, train and fight. It will give you 12 points of exp. And it will take 5 minutes maximum. The amount of exp. does not depend on the time you spend in game – a player who has spent here 5 hours will get the same exp.

The third advantage of eRepublic –

There are so-called “two-clickers” in the game. They are people who spend in the game 7 minutes a day. There also those, who spend here a lot of time. But both of them don’t get a dig difference in exp.

First week we only work and train. It takes a minute. Then we start to fight. We will deal some damage and advance in rank. Fights take 30 seconds. So, the fourth advantage (it’s connected with the third):

The game takes no more than 7 minutes per day.

So, we raise our level by working, training and fighting. With every new level reached, we unlock new abilities. These abilities can be the right to vote on elections, an ability to create a company or even your own political party. Yes, there are political parties in the game: from totalitarian to liberal ones. There is the president and the Congress in every country. Also there are laws, taxes, etc… There can be a long speech about it, but it’s better to actually see it.

The fifth advantage of eRepublic –

There is full-fledged politics in the game. You can become the president of your country. You can find your way into Parliament. You can be a radical communist or join right-wing democrats. Or, you can just choose the best candidate with the best program.

When you have taxes, you have economy. Straight away, here we have the sixth advantage:

Real economy exists here. You have full-blown marketplace and job market here. You can create a company or even a whole organization holding numerous companies. You can extract oil, bake bread or build houses. You can hire employees. You are a full-fledged businessman.

By the way, every region has its own resources. Thus, wars are not as pointless, as they seem.

There is even press here. That’s right, real press. Every day about 50 articles or even more get released. They are all published in newspapers, which can be created by anyone. And here a seventh advantage occurs:

There is journalism in the game. As well, you can enter the game for several minutes, or spend hours reading real press. You can try being a journalist. And the most important thing is- your article will be read for sure! Although how popular will it be depends on you. And there is another important thing! There’s advertising in the game. However, it’s not the “18+” type of advertising, but the one from the players themselves. You can tell about your article of any other news for mere pennies.

Ok, I must have already bored you to death showering praise to eRepublik.

Just last few advantages.

So, advantage number eight:

It’s a browser game. Therefore, you can play from you mobile or work.

Ninth one:

And what’s with monetization? Where do you invest? The answer is: you get Gold for money. Companies, parties, advertising are funded with Gold. However, you can get Gold free. You get it from ingame achievements. Besides that you can buy it at the exchange market by giving up your hard earned money and getting Gold. For the first three months, giving I never invested a penny in the game, around 250 Gold passed through my hands, and , well, I earned about 60 Gold myself.

And the last but not the least tenth lust and advantage:

The game is quite difficult, on the contrary of what it seems from the first sight. You are not likely to succeed without speaking English. That’s why eRepublik does not attract under aged punks, so you will have to play with undergraduate students, highschoolers and working people.

Well, I finished at last. I gave only a sneak peek at the game. You are yet to know what alliances, unions, TO, resistance wars are and so on. Why not start right now?

Thanks everyone!
