Asteria, what's next?

According to latest news, the biggest war of recent month has come to an end. After long series of defeats, being wiped two times, almost losing congress- Poland capitulated. NAP contains 7 laconic points, each successive worse than the previous. Is this treaty humiliating? Obviously yes. Is this agreement a success? Again yes. How one thing can be both humiliation and success? Because it's all Poland can obtain by now. We have more than 5.000 citizens, we are second power in eRepublik, we had stable, full set of resources and domination in central and west Europe, but in the face of gang bang from Asteria...we couldn’t win. Despite the big involvement and dedication of the nation and handful of allies, we must everyday endure endless defeats. What Poles has now? Their cores, uncertain and vague NAP and a lot of restraints. But the worst thing about Polish-Asteria skirmish is that this alliance again is united and with common goals. After the fall of Sirius, I was pretty sure the next step would be deep crisis in Asteria what'd cause its dissolution and formation of some new-fake-bratherhoods.



Well, it’s closed chapter. What Asteria will do in the near future? There are several potential scenarios. First one is freeing Chine. This founder member of Asteria is under the jackboot of Turkey, Chili and Croatia for more than 3 months. I had always one vision of China: passive country living still in Eden's times. I'm certain that considerable part of chinese population are foreigners who prefer playing farmville to waging war. From among countries with potential, China was always the least active. Fights with Korea and Pakistan do not count. They remained neutral during TWO-CoT era and they continue this strategy even being part of Asteria.



How can be Chine free again? I'm convinced that there are some ways. One is definitely starting RW festival. All of occupiers have numerous regions around the world, so in case of many threats, they'd probably ignore chinese regions. But this is just brief solution. Three or even more regions can be retaken easily and quickly, so if Asteria really want to help, must use heavy artillery. In other words, it would not be done without NE or AS. I wonder if they can use their recent, good relation with Pacifica. USA, Taiwan and Russia are in perfect localization to carry out all dirty work.



The other scenario is Chile. Why would Asteria attack this growing empire? There are more than just one reason. Some of you maybe remember chilean visit in Europe and they quit glorious moments. If not, I'll make short history lesson. Few month ago Chile made a big mess on the Old Continent: They erased Serbia, Romania, they cut Hungarian resources also they defeated Slovenia and occupied France for some time. Surely, even if it's past, Chile successes are not forgotten in Asteria bloc. Ghosts of the past can be eager for revenge.



The last and in my humble opinion the least possible option is new european war between Asteria members and post-Sirius countires. Can you imagine war between Romania or Greece with Turkey? Neither do I. Also I don't believe that Serbia and Croatia can renew their holy crusade against each other. But maybe we all will be surprised? Nope. We all know how eRepublik can be astonishing.
