Nyx made me think about this. Her campaign article was a bit too much like old campaign articles. I can still remember the first line was always I am X and have been CP so many times Mod so many and Mof so many.

In my mind there is a few requirements for a CP candidate
Activity
Eamonn Da Velera has commented in one article. So he is not for me a valid candidate.
Issues
Government must address issues. Perhaps other candidates will raise some issues they want to change.
Cob to be critical had exactly 1 aim: Unity? Tbh I have never been contacted by her in my entire term neither has vik or any else I know of. So where is the unity.
Be warned about the all positive Cp candidate. Government is there to identify and solve problems and to raise issues its constituents voted in. Even if we have to challenge the current system.
Because an active opposition is the most important counterweight in government I wont disturb the natural balance . Also just because we disagree about certain topics doesnt mean we all have to back 1 idea.
Vote therefore for the candidate who most closely resemble what changes you want to see in government.
Loyalty to Irelands cause
Eamonn, me and RA seem to be loyal to eIreland although Eamonn's last article was more than 1000 days ago.
Yet how can you be CP and command a foreign MU.
We had this issue with Don Croata before who was member of a foreign MU and had us set Irish Dod orders to support the country.
Anyway thats my 2 cents worth.

This is an excellent article RTK
It puts in writing what everybody needs to consider but does not.
I certainly did not approach voting that way - yet I should.
Candidates get lazy & just assume that what they have done in the past is good enough - they rest on their achievements.
Yet every term is different, may well need a fresh approach - CP is a difficult & exhausting job & if it is too much trouble to draft out a fresh campaing article - it begs the question whether the candidate has the energy to tackle the new term

This is the guy who complains of foreign MUs and is gonna run for CP of Ireland.
Well he is either not a friend of Ireland , or he does not understand the game mechanics to fight in a battle and ends up fighting against the allies of Ireland in important battles.
I dont think that he is qualified enough to run for CP .
Who is real ally of Ireland is a real question.
When ireland was occupied by brits for 6 months none of this "allies" came to help...

tbh i received no supplies to fight for anyone therefore was a free agent.
