eNorth Korea

eNorth Korea is all a buzz today, as citizens head to the polls to vote. This election represents the first, for the eNation, in several months where citizens will be able to vote in regions other than Pyongan. This is a direct result of the eNations successful cou (which has been building for most of the summer) against eRussian PTOers. Many eNorth Korean news sources highlighted that not only has the eRussian PTO ended, but with the help of EDEN/Brolliance they were able to remove eRussia (for the time being) from eAsia altogether and allow eNorth Korea to expand an recapture most of its former regions.

In contrast to the jubilation in eNorth Korea, last night, the Chinese Intelligence Agency issued a warning of a potential PTO attempt against eNorth Korea by eTurkey. According to the warning, eTurkish citizens were directed by eRussia to move to the eNation and attempt to PTO the Congress Elections for the purpose of “recapturing [eNorth Korea] and returning it to servitude”. eChina is encouraging any citizens able to, to obtain eNorth Korean citizenship and help in the ATO (anti-take-over) measures.



eSouth Africa

A proposal by the PTO controlled, eSouth African Congress resulted in the impeachment of the non-PTO controlled Country President Grimstone yesterday. While Grimstone has lost the powers of office, the President in a statement today, said that citizens should ignore the impeachment and continue to follow the government under his control and force out the PTO friendly congress people as well as fight back against the recent attack on the eNations high titanium region of Northern Cape. While the impeachment may not be accepted by the majority of eSouth Africans, the measure would prevent Grimstone from launching a counter attack against eBrazil.

The battle for North Cape, South Africa ended at 18:00 eRep time yesterday with the successful capture of the region by eBrazil. According to eSouth African sources, the leader of the eSouth African PTO team, Stadler City (an eHUngarian), was angered by the eBrazilian attack, as previous to the assult he had been in negotiations with eBrazil to “rent” the regions. This would explain why yesterday eSouth African Congress proposed a trade embargo with eBaazil and a an MPP with eSerbia. Whether the eBrazillian attack was sanctioned by Phoenix is unclear.

ePoland

ePoland easily captured the eCzech Repulic (eCR) regions of Northern Bohemia and Moravia yesterday. The response from neighboring eNations of eGermany and eHungary (who land swapped with eAustria to gain access to bordering ePoland) in attacking the newly claimed ePolish regions has opened up a major fight in central Europe between EDEN and Phoenix heavyweights. eGermany and eHungary are claiming that they attacked ePoland as a preemptive strike to prevent eCR from being completely conquered, thus ensuring that eCR remains an neutral eNation in the region (this is also the resoning eAustria is using to justify the land swap with their long-time enemy eHungary – eAustria is an ally of eCR).

I an unexpected turn of events, the eItalians, long-time peaceful neighbors of eAustria, launched a surprise attack on the eNation yesterday in the region of Salzburg. Many argue that eItaly's attack was a result of the attack in eCR, where the larger central European nations were focusing most of their energy. eitaly is significantly larger in population size than eAustria and, without foreign assistance for eAustria, should easily win the battle for Salzburg (a region that borders eGermany, but has no significant resources).



eUK and eFrance

The ceasefire that was called between eCanada, eFrance, and eUK for Congress elections to be held in each eNation, has been in effect without any eNation violating the agreement.

The vacant post of Country President of the eUK was filled yesterday by Jamesw after the previous Country President John Bartlett rage quit the position.
