Today’s highlights:
- A number of countries will be without a congress next month, ONE scrambles to save members.
- Friction between EDEN and eBulgaria continues, with ONE eNations adding fuel to the fire.
- INCI tries to free up ePakistan from eChina, fails to do so, but saves eIndonesia from a wipe.

The eWorld prepares for Congress Elections with Many eNations Wiped

With congress elections happening across the eWorld tomorrow, a massive effort by Terra and EDEN (T/EDEN) sought to wipe out a number of ONE member-eNations with the hope of blocking as many pro-ONE eNations from being eligible to elect a congress (as you require at least a single region to do so). Not having a congress prevents the adoption of laws, approval of citizenship applications, but most notably it prevents an eNation form accessing/spending the tax revenue it collects.

While there were already a few pro-ONE eNations without a Congress from wipes last month (eg. eUnited Kingdom, eIran), the list of pro-ONE eNations that find themselves without a congress has grown to include eMexico, eSpain (ONE’s third largest member-eNation) and most likely eNew Zealand.

However, several ONE member-eNations successfully thwarted T/EDEN’s attempts to wipe them including eSerbia, eIndonesia, eHungary and eRepublic of Macedonia(FYROM), though all four of these were/are under serious threat of being wiped in the near future.

It is worth noting that eParaguay, who currently doesn’t have a congress due to a wipe in January, was successful in pushing eArgentina out of the region of Paranea, allowing them back onto the map in time to have a congress in March, they will be the only pro-ONE eNation to regain a congress after being wiped last month.





Tensions Between eBulgaria and EDEN Peak

As previously reported, tensions between eBulgari and the EDEN alliance have grown over the last two months due to EDEN member-eNatiosn desire to add eTurkey to their alliance. eBulgaria’s elected leadership, who had originally supported eTurkey’s trial membership, has had a change of heart, likely due to the great opposition to the measure their citizens have expressed in the media. Beyond real life disputes between the countries, the two eNations have been enemies since eBulgaria joined EDEN.

In an unexpected move the CP of eBulgaria proposed an alliance between the eNation and ONE heavyweight ePoland. While the measure failed, it has sparked mass-hysteria throughout EDEN. In an attempt to drive the growing wedge between eBulgaria and other EDEN members further down, pro-ONE eNations have begun to propose alliances with eBulgaria. To date eRepublic of Macedonia(FYROM) and eSouth Korea have done so, though both are expected to fail.

While eBulgaria’s furture with EDEN is uncertain, the eNation is currently voting in favour of making eRepublic of Macedonia(FYROM) their natural enemy, an indicator that the country is committed to working with its existing allies for the time being.





INCI Military Group Target eChina

The INCI military group, a collection of eRep tanks who banded together for lulz, has grown to include hundreds (~ thousands) of “members”. The group who is generally pro-T/EDEN ignited a firestorm earlier this week when they launched a resistance war in eChinese occupied ePakistan. Older players may recall that a while back INCI liberated ePakistan (the eWorld’s first super-power) from eIndia’s occupation and proceeded to dominate the region until checked by the eUSA.

eChina who has occupied part of ePakistan for most of the last year, was forced to divide its military effort between holding onto the region in ePakistan (which connects a number of resources regions to eChina’s economic network) and wiping eIndonesia from the map. While eChina was able to rebuff the INCI attack, they lost too much ground in eIndonesian battles, ensuring that eIndonesia would remain on the map.
