MAJOR WARS

CUA and CoT

Before

After

The War for South South America

Belligerents: Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay vs. Brazil, Chile, Paraguay
Results: Oh boy. With the party going on in Russia, no one’s paying any attention to South America. They’d be missing a wild ride, as the tide has turned. Poor Paraguay has took the brunt of the damage, losing regions both to Bolivian revolts and to Argentinian attack. Chile has not avoided losses either, as Argentina took a home region from them in a very close battle. The only tough battle for CUA has been Uruguay, facing almighty Brazil, and that hasn’t gone too badly, with Uruguayans still holding out their independence, even gaining the initiative. Could CUA actually win?

Winner (this week): Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay (devastating)
Winner (campaign): Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay

The Colombian Revolution

Belligerents: Colombia vs. Mexico, Venezuela
Results: The independence war continues! Colombia is essentially encapsulated by its Mexican enemies, yet the Colombians still manage to stay on the map. Perhaps Brazil’s refound focus on Uruguay will be enough of a distraction for the Colombians. After all, the Colombians appear to have gained a tiny advantage in the latest battle. Yet, Mexico still manages to control more than 75% of the EDEN nation, preventing them from fully breaking out. However, morale remains high for the scrappy Colombians. With the battles in the south going exceptionally well, could Colombia finally find a breakthrough?

Winner (this week): DRAW
Winner (campaign): Mexico, Venezuela

The Balkan Suppression
Before

After

The Greek-Macedonian War
Belligerents: Greece, Romania, Turkey vs. Macedonia
Results: To be fair, Macedonia hasn’t really focused much on the Balkans, choosing instead to prepare for their perhaps inevitable invasion of China. Then again, Macedonia expanded to occupy almost all of Greece at one point, a ploy never successfully carried out. Now, the Greeks have once again gone on the offensive, reclaiming the southern peninsula from the brink of collapse. Better yet, with Bulgaria’s extermination from their home regions leading to Romania and Turkey both heading westward, Romania into Eastern Macedonia and Romania into Thrace, an occupied Greek region. Shall Greece be saved?

Winner (this week): Macedonia (minor)
Winner (campaign): Macedonia

The Turkish Tango

Belligerents: Turkey, Romania vs. Bulgaria
Results: Okay, Bulgaria is focused on protecting their Saudi and Egyptian colonial empire that they seized off of Greece’s ashes. In that regard, they’re doing well. Yet, Bulgaria has completely scoffed at any attempts to fight in the Balkans again. Romania and Turkey have taken full advantage, fully wiping Bulgaria from its six home regions, leaving but a small Turkish region under occupation. Bulgaria has successfully made its transition, but Romania and Turkey are the ones with the regions, the advantage, and the new target in the Balkans. With many CoT nations escaping the Balkans, this may signal EDEN’s resurgence in the region.

Winner (campaign): Turkey, Romania (devastating)

The Ukrainian Liberation War

Belligerents: Ukraine vs. Hungary
Results: With Poland busy battling everyone and their third cousin up in northern Europe and Russia, the Ukrainians have taken it upon themselves to steal back their two regions occupied by the Polish in an attempt to stage a liberation movement. Sadly, they still have to deal with the vastly more mighty Hungarians. There’s little that the Ukrainians can do, as Hungary appears poised to take the two regions and hold a full wipe over the Ukrainian people. Everyone is too focused in the Balkan wars, and frankly, Ukraine is little match for Hungary. Don’t look for Ukraine next week.

Winner (this week): Hungary
Winner (campaign): Hungary

The Serbian Breakdown

Belligerents: Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Serbia
Results: Now HERE’s a party! Oh boy oh boy oh boy! The good ol’ Serb slaying crew of Croatia, Albania, and Bosnia arose from the dead, sending massive revolts across the Serbian empire. All three nations successfully won their freedom back into the peninsula, and the war for the Balkans has raged on. The Croats lead the way, drawing the brunt Serbian NE and majority of resistance, yet the trio has been tremendously successful, at least early on. Croatia now has a foothold back into the Balkans, while Albania and Bosnia both have two regions and are close to earning a third. Could this major threat pan out for EDEN?

Winner (this week): Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Winner (campaign): Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Glorious Poland
Before

After

The Asgard Freedom March

Belligerents: Sweden, Finland vs. Latvia, Estonia
Results: Poland voluntarily releasing Swedish and Finnish territories is a guise. Frankly, they couldn’t hold down the Asgard nations if they tried. A clever move for the Polish indeed. They also have two backup systems in hand for the Scandinavian countries, codenamed Latvia and Estonia. The Swedes and Finns have for the most part had little problem with both the TWO wannabes and Polish occupiers, gaining and holding onto their regions, barring a Latvian capturing of Gotland. The Swedish threaten to take the region back and fling the landscape back to status quo. A ‘get out of Poland free’ card is nice, but the Swedes and Finns won’t get a free ride.

Winner (this week): Sweden, Finland
Winner (campaign): Sweden, Finland

Other Wars

Operation Gangnam Style (Attempt #2)
Before

After

Belligerents: Republic of China (Taiwan) vs. USA, Japan, South Korea
Results: Ooh interesting development! First off, Taiwan has succumbed to Japanese forces, who have liberated the final occupied region in Japan, essentially kicking the Taiwanese out of their backup base. On the main front, however, Taiwan is much more competent, taking on South Koreans backed by America in full stride, holding onto all South Korean regions despite repeated joint American-Korean attempts to do otherwise. Now, with America attempting to also back Russia in their war, there has been an armistice while the nations discuss possible terms for peace. Could Taiwan have actually won?

Winner (this week): USA, South Korea, Japan (minor)
Winner (campaign): USA, South Korea, Japan
