MAJOR WARS

The British Recolonization
Start

Belligerents: Canada, Ireland, Portugal vs. United Kingdom
Results: So, how about this for a turn of events? United Kingdom planned to go through Canada in order to take over the Azores, a Portuguese region released by Spain to help their TWO ally. Canada put up great resistance, to the surprise of some Brits, who believed that the Canadians would give the region willingly. However, Britain succeeded in taking the region and taking the Azores, a region that the Portuguese have managed to reclaim since. However, British-Irish relations have fallen apart, as Canada and Ireland were supposed to have a Training War, made impossible by the Brits' control of Newfoundland and Labrador, since recaptured by the Canadians. Portugal can't help directly against the Brits, but it's still a 2v1 battle against the Royal Crown. (And with Belgium NEing the UK, perhaps a 3v1?)

Winner (this week): DRAW
Winner (campaign): Canada, Ireland, Portugal (minor)

The Colombian Crisis
Start

Belligerents: Colombia vs. Brazil, Mexico, Spain
Results: Colombia really has it tough from a geographical perspective. With Spain and Venezuela being buds, Spain is only one obstacle from being able to reach the Pacific. Unfortunately for the Colombians, they happen to be that one obstacle, and Spain is more than happy to fight its way through. As a result, Spain succeeded in making its way through Colombia and into the Philippines (fun fact: the Philippines was historically a Spanish colony until it was ceded to the Americans after the Spanish-American War. ~the more you know~). With Spain holding a lax attitude with their holdings in Colombia, Mexico has started its campaign against the Colombian people. With Spain out of the way, this could be a fairly even matchup, if it weren't for Brazil coming in from the south.

Winner (this week): Brazil, Mexico, Spain
Winner (campaign): Brazil, Mexico, Spain (minor)

The Spamerican Pacific Travels
Before

After

Belligerents: Taiwan (ROC), Philippines vs. USA, Spain
Results: Man, I'm lovin the new graphics! Anyway, as Brazil retreated from East Asia, Spain found its way through Colombia and into the Philippines, picking up where their Brazilian friends left off, rushing into the south of the nation and claiming most of the Filipino regions. In the north, on Taiwan mainland, America and Brazil occupied all four regions where the Taiwanese call home, and although Taiwan has managed to retake a few regions via RW, it's still half-conquered by the Yanks. With Taiwan half occupied and the Philippines destined to fall, the Eastern EDEN needs help to avoid yet another loss for the stumbling alliance.

Winner (this week): USA, Spain (devastating)
Winner (campaign): USA, Spain (devastating)

The Chilean Counterattack
Before

After

Belligerents: Argentina, Bolivia vs. Chile, Paraguay
Results: The battle got a whole lot more interesting as a tag team partner for each side, Bolivia for the Argentinians and Paraguay~ for the Chileans. The net result was still the same, however. Paraguay was wiped by Argentinian forces, though they managed to quickly recapture their regions and even make headway into Argentina with the help of their Chilean ally. Bolivia was not so lucky, though, as the puppet nation quickly got partitioned by the two enemy nations. At a front disadvantage, Argentina's chances of coming out of the war unscathed are slowly dwindling.

Winner (this week): Chile, Paraguay
Winner (campaign): Chile, Paraguay (devastating)

The Balkan Suppression
Before

After

The Greek Epic
Belligerents: Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Turkey vs. Bulgaria, Macedonia
Results: The main event has been the battle to keep Greece on the map, and it hasn't disappointed one bit. Bulgaria's occupation of the Aegean Islands and Thrace has ended, as the Aegean Islands have been relinquished to the Macedonians, while Thrace has found its way back in Greek hands. Down in Egypt, however, is where the party took place. While Cyprus originally willingly let Bulgaria through in return for guaranteed return of lands, diplomacy broke down, resulting in Cyprus taking over two-thirds of Egypt before Bulgaria wiped the island nation. Bulgaria has successfully taken the eastern half of Egypt, and made progress against Turkey as well, taking Tabuk, a Saudi region. Greece continues to try to hold onto Thrace and retake Greek regions, while Turkey looks to guide Bulgaria back to the sea.

Winner (this week): Bulgaria, Macedonia (minor)
Winner (campaign): Bulgaria, Macedonia (devastating)

The Serbian Visit to Jerusalem
Belligerents: Israel vs. Serbia
Results: Israel isn't a particularly powerful nation on its own, and due to recent events only has 3 MPPs. Serbia is a monstrous powerhouse stretching from Aquitaine in France down to Apulia in Italy and Crete in Greece. Do the math. In what's clearly a one-sided affair, Serbia came rushing into Israeli lands, quickly taking Tel Aviv in a nearly perfect battle. EDEN isn't bothering with this front, sending its support to allies that could benefit dearly from the support. As a result, Serbia should have no problem quickly occupying the Middle Eastern nation. Barring a major surprise, Israel looks D.O.A.

Winner (this week): Serbia
Winner (campaign): Serbia

The Battle for Scandinavia
Before

After

The Finnish March South
Belligerents: Finland vs. Estonia
Results: Finland continues its pressure on Estonia. While the Estonians managed to recover a good chunk of their land thanks to their Latvian friends, Finland still has a foothold across the strait into Estonian territory. With Latvia busy in its own conquests, Estonia will have to rely on their own firepower if they hope to liberate their entire home. But with Sweden and Finland still in an alliance but ABC vanished, Finland still has to like their chances despite the momentary setback. Don't be surprised to see Finland making gains once again.

Winner (this week): Estonia (minor)
Winner (campaign): Finland

The Swedish Coastal Barrage
Belligerents: Sweden, Germark, Norway vs. Lithuania, Latvia, PTO'd Denmark
Results: While most of the crucial battling took place in Sweden, after three weeks of continuous fights the land ownership remains the same in the Scandinavian nation, with Latvia controlling Gotland and Lithuania holding onto Scania but no gains made on the large portion of Swedish territory. Germark, however, avoided near disaster, as PTO'd parties in Denmark started to RW Danish regions, successfully taking Nordjyland. Luckily for the Germans, Norway pitched in, fighting its first meaningful battle in quite some time and taking the rebel Danish province into captivity. Lithuania attempted a piercing attack into Berlin that held its own at first, but collapsed during the siege of the German capital. Tense battles await.

Winner (this week): Lithuania, Latvia (minor)
Winner (campaign): Lithuania, Latvia
